    Gender of Assistant for AA7

    Posted: 06 Jan 2022 10:30 PM PST

Do you think the devs of AA7 should make the assistant a woman as per tradition, or should they shake things up and have a male assistant instead?

    Idea for AA7

    Posted: 06 Jan 2022 04:03 PM PST

In AA7, there should be a case where the crime scene is inside of Nick's apartment unit. The defendant is neither Nick nor Trucy, but Nick's landlord.

This way, we can finally find out and see where Phoenix Wright lives

    Great Ace Attorney question

    Posted: 06 Jan 2022 07:22 PM PST

I'm relatively new to AA, I played the trilogy and loved (most of) it, and I've been trying to set up an emulator for the games I can't play because they're on consoles I dont have, but currently the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is on sale and I had a question before I bought it. Do I need any knowledge from the future games before this one or is it just a fully contained spinoff? I assume it is because it literally takes place in the past but I wanted to be sure.

i think i just predicted ace attorney Apollo justice before im even half way through the 4th case

    Posted: 06 Jan 2022 08:41 PM PST

I think that I just predicted the ending of ace attorney Apollo justice on my first play through without any guides and in case I'm right I'm making a post to prove that i didn't fake this or that this is my second play through PS:could not be bothered to spell check since my first good copy got corrupted before i could make it sound good and im not putting another 30 min of editing to make this sound good

The start of my theory begins 7 years ago when phoenix lost his attorney's badge due to forged evidence. So i think that the victim in this case will be one of the gramarye and more specify zak gramarye and the defendant will be the wife of the victim (zak gramarye) and the mother of trucy gramarye (soon to be trucy wright) with either of them being framed for murder by valant so he can have full control of the troupe. I believe this because during a conversation with valant outside the sunshine arena or whatever its called, an image appeared showing 3 magicians. Zak, valant and another female magician that looks a lot like Trucy. Also in the same interaction with valant he tells Apollo that the rights to the troupe would be his if the owner is deceased and if someone is missing for 7 years they would be declared dead and thus valant would own the rights to the trope.

Back to 7 years ago kristoph gavin requests drew misimph to create a piece of forged evidence and upon receiving it. Would give said forged evidence to phoenix or place the evidence for phoenix to find. Phoenix would than go on to present this evidence to the court and javheir would spot the forged evidence and call phoenix out resulting in him losing his attorney's badge. This would than lead to his client being found guilty and depending on who the defendant is ethier A. zak will escape from the courtroom fleeing the police or B. trucys mother gets declared guilty and is taken to a holding cell by police. I also believe that trucy will end up being a witness or a co counselor in this case and phoenix feeling guilty for not being able to defend her mother/father with the other dead, will decide to adopt trucy.

Now as to why kristoph would give forged evidence to phoenix i can think of 4 possibilities. Option one is that kristoph for whatever reason wanted wright to fail so he purposely gave him fake evidence so he would lose his badge. Option two is that Valant and kristoph had struck a deal and gave wright fake evidence to get him off the hook. Option 3 is that kristoph wanted to try and save the defendant and underestimated javier's skill as a prosecutor resulting in him discovering that it was forged and option 4 is the same as option 1 but instead of to hurt phoenix it was to help javier's and make him the one who defeated the one and only "phoenix wright". But personally I think that option 1 and 2 are most likely.

After the trial is over Kristoph goes on to send a letter to Drew misum telling him to send a letter back with the stamp he sent in the letter within the next 3 days. The back of the stamp was however coated in atroquinine poison as gavins goal was to kill drew misum and tie up loose ends, but unknown to him his daughter vera misum (the real forger) finds the letter first and keeps the stamp in a small frame.

7 years later Phoenix goes on to become a professional poker player and zak gramarye either still on the run from the police or having faked his own death challenges wright under a different name and tries to dethrone him with the help of olga orly. I believe that the man is Zak (forgot what name zak went under) since he had a locket of trucy around his neck so it would make sense if the two were related . My theory for this is that Zak wishes to tarnish and ruin Wright's reputation because he wasn't able to defend his wife/him.

But before phoenix and zak play poker,Gavin who had been having diner with phoenix just 5 minutes before their game finds out that phoenix's opponent was going to be zak (i forgot if they explained how but i think it will be explained later) and with that realization gavin panics and plan to murder zak to make sure that pheniox dosen't discover the truth and wont put suspicion on him.

Phoenix of course sees through olgas and zaks attempt to frame him as a cheetah and outsmarts the two of them causing zak to go into a rage knocking orly unconscious. After that phoenix leaves the room at witch point having emerges killing zak with a bottle of grape juice to the head disposing of evidence before leaving

Phoenix than provides to call gavin upon discovering the body of zak and upon hearing gavin speak wright pieces together that gavin must be the killer so he moves some things around in the crime scene but when he sees zaks locket he pieces together who the man really is and that gavins not just responsible for this crime but for the forgery as well. He calls Gavin one more time and gets him to have his apprentice, Apollo justice take his case instead. On the day of the trial Apollo reluctantly starts to pressure Kristoph with the help of Phoenix and get Kristoph declared guilty.

During the next 2 cases phoenix goes on to prepare a test to a different court system for a trial that he plans to have kristoph gavin brought to justice for the crime of forging evidence and framing phoenix for it. From here it gets complicated and these are just guesses that have no base but i think that phoenix got drew misum to fake his own death somehow so he could switch the test trial for the jurist system.

Herlock Sholmes question (spoilers bith games)

    Posted: 06 Jan 2022 02:38 PM PST

I finished both games. I alwauys asked myself if Sholmes was actually stupid or faking it. In the end it is revealed he did really go on adventures with Mikotoba, moreover foresees many things about the plot. So he really is a great detective.

But why Sholmes' "logic and deduction spectaculars" are so incredibly stupid? I didn't really like them, they felt forced, weird and incredibly easy. Why did Sholmes fake them? I didn't notice the story explaining it, although I can be a pretty unattentive reader sometimes. Is an explanation mentioned somewhere in the story?
