    So I'm playing the games for the first time and I'm currently in the big top turnabout case. Something has kinda struck me as weird. Acro is in a wheelchair right? Because of fighting with the lion. And apparently that was SIX MONTHS AGO before the murder... why did they let Acro stay on the third floor? You would think a wheelchair person would wanna stay on the first floor because it's already ground level. I guess their coulda been an elevator in the building, maybe but still. Just for ease, it makes more sense to room on the first floor. I don't know, just some unanswered questions I guess

    Why do Defense Attorney's (Especially the WAA) get the most suffering?

    Is it me? Or does every Defense Attorney have gone to some misfortune? It makes me sad to think that they would be under so much pain than better. Like, for example:

    Phoenix Wright: Lost Mia; Undergone trouble with Dahlia; And discovers the horrid truth in Khura'in

    Apollo Justice: Lost his Dads; his best friend; forgets Thalassa; almost drowned; almost died in a fire; and stays in the Kingdom. Very harsh and inhuman if you ask me, but touching.

    Athena Cykes: Lost his Mom; endured it for seven years; saved Simon thanks to Phoenix; and has PTSD

    Non-WAA Defense Attorneys:

    Raymond Shields/Tateyuki Shigraki: Lost Gregory; lived his life in cynicism until he met Miles who changed thanks to Von Karma but didn't like it.

    Gregory Edgeworth: Gets shot in an elevator; leaves his son traumatized for years.

    Jill Crane/Tsubasa Kagome: Brutally murdered by Blaise Debeste/Bansai Ichiyanagi by trying to kill him thanks to her boyfriend's death. Horrible.

    As for the "Evil" Defense Attorney's, such as Kristoph Gavin and Aristotle Means. They had their evil influenced from somewhere else. And that's not saying much.

    And if Capcom is reading this, please STOP hurting Apollo! Athena! Or any other cute attorney or character! Is the unspeakable suffering in the 3D universe enough for them!?

    A hypothetical DLC for the Phoenix Wright Trilogy: Maya’s goodbye

    Having recently finished Apollo Justice, I was strongly disappointed at the complete lack of Maya in Phoenix's final case. Just as Rise from the Ashes gives context for the later games retroactively, I think a DLC for the trilogy could fill in what exactly happened to Maya, as, to my knowledge, there is no explanation as to what happened to cause her to leave Wright and co.

    Ok so I'm on eBay and I'm buying the English patch of aai2, but it says it's only runs on ds / ds lite. Is this because it's a ds game or will it not work on the 3ds?

    If the question causes confusion I'm basically asking "does the English patch cartridge work on 3ds"

    What are even more headcanons you have for the AA characters?

    Here's a part 3 for y'all since I like to see the headcanons you guys have! As always, here are some of mine:

    •Maya and Pearl had visited Phoenix when he first got disbarred but when they went in the office at first, they only saw Trucy sitting around and when she had called for her new "Daddy" and saw Phoenix answer, it caused fluster and confusion from Maya and prompted a smack to Phoenix from Pearl

    •Athena deliberately tries to get Apollo to visit places with heights so she can hold his hand again since he's afraid of heights and eventually Apollo gets over the fear but still chooses to hold Athena's hand

    •Apollo is great at archery because of his Perceive ability

    •If Phoenix accidentally sleeps in the office, he sometimes cleans the toilet in his sleep

    And lastly

    •Sebastian and Kay start to hang out after AAI2, frequently in Edgeworth's office, which gets Edgeworth to question to Gumshoe if they could be in a relationship, which gets Gumshoe to think that Edgeworth acts like a father with how he's constantly asking about it

    In my opinion Shu Takumi and Yamazaki should team up for the next Ace Attorney games.

    They are both great at what they do. Shu's biggest strength is character writing and development. Yamazaki is best at grand specticals that all the cases lead up to. So if they team up I think that would be the greatest ace attorney game ever

    Seriously, now that's how you do a sympathetic culprit. I was expecting to dislike her as Nikomina and Joan were both completely awful "sympathetic" culprits, but wow. The way her motive and story was written into the case was so cool and she's legitimately likable and sympathetic at the same time. Easily my second favorite DGS character so far (behind Megundal).
