Something i love about Godot, and i find is a clever piece of characterisation

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 11:44 AM PST

Usualy in ace attorney the different prossecutor tend to have build a strong case and the defense have either to find plausible alternative to stall for time or to completly destroy the logic being the case of the prossecution... And usually the prossecutors don't widely change their claim during the trial

But godot tend not to work like that. Godot bullshit his way trough the cases just as much as phoenix does and he don't hesitate to find wild plausible alternative interpretation of the fact just to stall for time.

It serve a double purposes, first it hint at his past as a defense attorney and his status as spiritual mentor to phoenix, with both of them using the same tactics. And second it hint that at least a part of him isn't here to truly solve the case but just to beat phoenix in a duel of logic, though it is an observation to nuance as indeed there is many time godot push the court to close loose end even though it directly hurt his case, most notably at the end of 3.5 were everybody is happy to find iris not guilty and stop there but godot insist that they need to find the true killer.

    I miss gumshoe.

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 07:07 PM PST

In all honesty, do you think gumshoe will ever appear in a new game? He hasn't been in any games for a long time. I really hope he comes back but I just don't know at this point.

    Does Ace Attorney have “bosses?”

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 05:17 PM PST

Should big imposing characters that you need to defeat at the end of the game (like Manfred con Karma and Godot) be considered video game "bosses?" Should they be considered bosses because they are the main villain that you must take down to beat the game? Should they not be considered bosses because the games are mostly scripted and not as much immediate skill is needed as when fighting traditional game bosses? Let me know what you think.

    6-5 Spoilers: But what if...

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 05:30 PM PST

What if Ga'ran (Frieza clone) chose to not usurp the throne of Khura'in for herself? If Ga'ran chose not to follow down the path of envy and decides to ultimately take the throne her sister had because of her extremely envious feelings towards her. How would the lore of Ace Attorney change if Ga'ran decided not to become evil?

In my belief, the events of Ace Attorney would turn out like this:

-Kristoph isn't envious of Wright and doesn't become a criminal to disbar him.
-Wright defends Simon Blackquill when he's accussed of his crime.
-Blackquill is released along with Athena, who leaves her career choice as she gets older. Blackquill quickly catches the Phantom before he could do more.
-Phoenix is not disbarred and continues his lawyer work per usual.
-Maya finishes her training to become master in Khura'in and arrives home to the States.
-Blackquill goes to Bucky Whet and stops Geiru to commit her murder at her master.
-The cases and the filler cases from AJ and the "Second" trilogy all never happen.

I think there's more, but I feel like I'm missing a lot of information. Since I don't usually replay Ace Attorney that often mainly because how "events" in that world play. It's almost comparable to Dragon Ball to be honest.

But if Ga'ran chose to not be evil, how would the world of Ace Attorney change from that and why in your perspective?

What kind of sentence would all the villains of the Ace Attorney series face?

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 02:14 PM PST

I'm sure by this point we've all seen videos of real lawyers picking apart the justice system in the series, but something I've never seen any of them cover is what kind of sentence the killer would receive. This could be interesting as the villains range from simple murder to conspiracy, blackmail, obstruction of justice, etc. For the sake of consistency, let's assume that it takes place in California.

    My character tier list (AA1-AA3)

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 06:38 AM PST

    I have a question

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 04:19 PM PST

So, I want to play DGS and DGS2, but I've unfortunately received many spoilers regarding the games. And some of them are major spoilers, like the name of the one guilty defendant, Kazuma becoming a prosecutor, etc.

As for why I've been spoiled, part of it was my own fault. I was on the Ace Attorney Wiki, and I looked at some of the pages on DGS characters, believing that I was never going to be able to play the games. But now, I 've seen too much, and I'm worried that I won't be able to enjoy the games' stories.

For those of you who have played the DGS games, do the spoilers I already know ruin the story?

    How would you improve Nahyuta

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 08:47 AM PST

So Nahyuta is one of my personal favourite prosecutors and i really like him,

unfortunately most people think the same. I have heard that he's termed as the most boring prosecutor.

i know he have many flaws so my question is how will you improve him

you can add characteristics, remove some flaws , etc.

sorry for bad english it's my second language =p

if you don't know him he's this lad
