Posted: 21 Oct 2019 07:18 PM PDT Like, are there any old defendants that we haven't seen in a while that you'd be cool with checking up on? Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Juniper or Will Powers again. Who I don't want to defend again: Maya. She can stay all she wants but seriously: if I have to defend her again... Farewell, My Turnabout is one of the BEST cases of the entire trilogy. Posted: 21 Oct 2019 07:47 AM PDT Farewell, My Turnabout is amazing, for what it represents. You've spent the entirety of these 2 games always seeking out the truth, and always getting an Innocent verdict, only for the game to spit in your face with your most evil client ever. Matt Engarde is pure evil, an undeniable monster, who deserves to burn in Hell, and he's the guy you have no choice but to represent. Again, you're HELPING this guy get off the hook. You have to continually BS possible excuses for his awful actions to the court, try to save this monstrosity, or Maya will be killed. And in the end, you have no choice but to decide whether or not to plead guilty, or not guilty. You have to choose whether to sacrifice Maya, your closest friend, or Adrian, an innocent. It doesn't MATTER that Von Karma stepped in to save you, you still CHOSE one of these! You still either chose to screw over Adrian and the legal system, just to save a single person, or you chose to sacrifice your most loyal friend, who's never failed you, all to put a single man in jail, and preserve your pathetic morals. This case forces you to make a heavy decision, that you have no idea won't matter, and makes you actually weigh your personal relationships over what's right. This case is awesome. Phoenix wright in super smash Bros moveset I made one Posted: 21 Oct 2019 09:01 PM PDT Summary: Fighting like he was in his home game Phoenix gathers evidence as he fights then unleashes them at a crucial moment. With his evidence mechanic players have to set up distinct goals and combos and opponents will have to pay equal attention, whoever can play Phoenix's game better wins. In terms of moveset it is mostly meant for defensive play rather than being aggressive and have awkward hitboxes or uses Reveal Trailer: dimly lit table shines a light on iconic AA items, Nahyuta's beads, Godot's coffee cup, Fran's whip, Edgeworth's cravat, Apollo's bracelet then finally Phoenix's badge. Camera zooms in on the badge and cut to a dark hallway with a door at the end, Phoenix slowly walks through it then comes out and points with the tagline Phoenix rises from the ashes! Attributes: large body and medium weight, medium ground speed and air speed with low acceleration and low jumps Jab: swings a fingerprint dusting swab around, short ranged but fast and good damage Up Tilt: raise his arm above his head to scratch it then puts his hand down, fast but hitbox is small and doesn't last long Forward Tilt: signature objection point, fast and long ranged making it a very useful move Down Tilt: search the ground on all fours for evidence, has two hits and sets up combos. copied from mvc Dash Attach: trip and stumble backwards then get up, his leg while tripping deals low damage and knockback while him crashing to the ground is more powerful, lot of ending lag Up Smash: faces the camera and furiously scratches at his head with both hands, arms raised accordingly, a good anti air but not great for killing vertically Forward Smash - Take That!: swings his finger back then points with the Take That! textbox appearing in front of him typical forward smash Down Smash: courtroom desk rises out of the ground and Phoenix slams his hands on it, the desk rising sets up into the slam Neutral Aerial: sneezes into Edgeworth's cravat, the sneeze is the main hitbox while his head before sneezing serves as a powerful sweetspot Forward Aerial: spray luminol testing fluid, low knockback mainly used for damage racking Back Aerial: reaches behind him and pours out a cup of coffee, consistent hitbox throughout with the coffee portion having a fire effect Up Aerial: try to use franziska's coiled whip but drops it on his head instead, not powerful but very fast Down Aerial: does his signature point diagonally downwards, the very tip of his finger spike, due to his stature an awkward move to land and best used on the ground. copied from mvc Pummel: squeeze with nahyuta's beads Up Throw: points upwards and they go that direction Forward Throw: points and sends them forward Back Throw: says take that! and they go backwards Down Throw: yells Hold it! and enemy is briefly stunned allowing for a follow up, doesn't stack with a percentage and can only lead into a weak move or Down B (I put 0 creative energy into throws) Evidence: At the start of the match Phoenix will have three boxes and as the fight goes on he will gain evidence. Steel Samurai Statue - when a combination of 160% has been dealt or taken, 70% taken and 90% dealt will work and so will 10% taken and 150% dealt Autopsy Report - hit the opponent with every single move of a type, for instance every single tilt, smash, or aerial. this all apply simultaneously Photograph - Parry an attack 5 times With all evidence gathered Phoenix's Down B will change and his attributes will be buffed becoming faster and jumping higher, loses everything on death Neutral Special - Present: holds his hand out while the AA evidence box appears above him, any projectile hitting him Phoenix will take full damage but no damage from and get to use that same projectile twice with halved damage and knockback each time Forward Special - Paperwork: Throws three pieces of paper, deal light damage but can disrupt recoveries if thrown off stage, these papers can hit Phoenix and be used with Present allowing for aid in recovery or combos Up Special - Psyche-Lock: glow green and stall in the air before facing away from the camera and climbing into a psyche lock, psyche lock serves as a falling platform whose direction Phoenix can control and can jump off without using his double jump though the jump is only horizontal. Phoenix gains light armor during the move and can attack on it to ward away edgeguarding, being hit resets it making it useful to combine with Present+Paperwork to hit yourself and reset it Down Special - Bluff: identical animation to forward tilt, the next time Phoenix would make progress towards gathering evidence it will appear filled, only piece of evidence can be gained this way and in the rare chance someone is hit with bluff they will call his bluff and he'll lose every piece of evidence he has. progress towards the bluffed evidence is reset, and will be replaced with the real one should the criteria be met. can be used for mindgames by using forward tilt when the enemy is far away, or spacing bluff so it appears he was meaning to use ftilt but whiffed. Careful opponents paying attention can make this move useless Down Special 2 - Objection!: With all evidence gathered Phoenix will point and scream Take That! with the textbox appearing in front of him, which leads into a cutscene of Phoenix slamming his hands on his desk and presenting each piece of evidence. Has the same power as a Waft. This move will still change with bluffed evidence but instead Phoenix will present the two real evidence then on the last one do his phoenixugh face, only doing 20% damage Final Smash - Psyche-Lock Break: Activation box of Hold It! textbox, should the attack connect the psyche lock animation will play with three of them and any enemies caught will be stuck in one of the Psyche-Locks and Phoenix will yell all of his signature phrases which causes one psyche lock to disappear each time. If the final smash connects Phoenix will gain every piece of evidence Up Taunt: raises and drinks a cup of coffee, healing 1% Side Taunt: proudly holds out his attorney's badge Down Taunt: Maya beams in like Morgana does and gets mad at him, her colors will be dependent on his alt Alts: Apollo alt, athena Maya Edgeworth alt, kay maya Franziska alt, gumshoe maya Godot alt, mia maya Klavier alt, ema maya Blackquill alt, fullbright maya Nahyuta alt, rayfa maya [link] [comments]
Is it me, or is Mia VERY chill for someone who was murdered? Posted: 21 Oct 2019 07:12 AM PDT Most people would have SOME hostility, considering the circumstances. She's just like, "Welp, guess I'm dead, lol." I mean, this girl confronted the man who MURDERED HER without batting an eye. [link] [comments]
