How would you feel about variations of the "Objection!" voices based on the environment and current events?

    Posted: 12 Apr 2021 06:26 PM PDT

For example, the main character would have their standard "Objection!", but if they were nervous or unsure of themselves, they could have a less confident sounding "Objection!" with possibly a stutter or a shaky text bubble.

Which cases or games do you like more than you think you should?

    Posted: 12 Apr 2021 07:12 PM PDT

I think I praise I2-5 a lot more than it deserves because it does have apparent flaws (mainly how it feels somewhat bloated and could've went a bit further with the villain), but every time I come back to it I still love it, and it's still one of my favorites along with I2-4, 4-1, and 4-4 (another case I think I praise more than I should.)

Space Girl - Frances Forever reminds me of them so I made this :)

(Spoiler for AAI2-4) After playing the fourth case, I had a question about a possibility for the mainline games?

Assuming the case/game associated with the plot is good, how would you feel if a main character went through an amnesia plot like Kay but they didn't get their memories back and everyone has to accept it and reconnect with the character?

Help to write a good trial

    Posted: 12 Apr 2021 07:07 PM PDT

I'm currently writing a fanfic and I need help to write the trial scenes. Like, I got issues explaining the case and how to link the clues... I mean, I know how and who but it's difficult for me to write the 'connections' as the trial goes... I just need help with those details, I have almost all done. I promise credits or anything for your help!

Something about Rise from the ashes and The IS-7 incident

    Posted: 12 Apr 2021 04:23 PM PDT

So we know Jeff Master was found Guilty as an accomplice to the murder of Pierre Hoquet and got a guilty verdict in his trial. Lana Skye also had the same happen to her but her verdict was "not guilty". She still went to jail but she was considered to be acquitted for the murder of Detective Goodman. So why was Lana not guilty but Jeff guilty? Why is Gregory considered the loser of the case but Phoenix the winner? Both were found as accomplices to a murder

What are some good streams for Phonenix wright playthroughs? I've really been enjoying Lotusprince in particular

Lotusprince is pretty fun and I really enjoy his let's plays. Hes definitely played them but plays as if he's brand new. He's sincerely a treasure and has a talent for reading the voices.

Anyone else that would be fun to watch and react to big phoenix wright moments? I find most people just don't have the talent or charm but it's definitely addictive if done right.

Which should I choose: AAI1 or DD?

    Posted: 12 Apr 2021 03:03 PM PDT

I'm reaching the end of my journey in Apollo Justice, and I have a question for you all: in the sense of overall enjoyment, should I buy Ace Attorney investigations 1 or Dual Destinies? I can't really decide, so I wanted to leave it to the squad over on reddit.

    Using Guides for Ace Attorney.

    Posted: 12 Apr 2021 09:10 AM PDT

I use guides quite a lot for these games, and it makes me feel bad when I see that what I struggled on was actually quite easy for a lot of players. So I want to know, what's your opinion on using guides for these games?

What is the most absurd thing on procedures you've found when playing?

    Posted: 12 Apr 2021 03:45 AM PDT

I love Ace Attorney. For me it's one on the best games on Nintendo handhelds. It's highly entertaining.

However, the fact that I picked it up as an adult instead of playing it as a kid, and taking into account that I've been very well sorrounded by lawyers (even though I'm not one), has made serious highlights in my mind regarding investigation, evidence and trial procedure, like:

    • Is it acceptable evidence? How can they certify he/she (defense lawyer) didn't fabricate it?
    • How can testimony almost be changed endless times when witness has lied from the very beginning?
    • Why is never the suspect the guy who supposedly saw everything? (As I read for this one, it's technically a joke because of the japanese legal system where you don't have to proof that you're guilty but rather why you aren't)

So for you what is or has been the most absurd thing you've came across in the games series? It can also be something that in your country doesn't make sense, but maybe in other countries or in the game seems normal.
