    Trials and Tribulations villain is the most successful villain (T&T Spoilers)

    now that spoiler tags are out of the way.

    Dahlia Hawthorne is really successful as a villain, she successfully ruined a lot of people's lives, and her plans always work pretty well, in a way her bullets either scar you or kill you, she never misses.

    • she successfully got Valerie Hawthorne and Terry Fawles killed and got away with it scotfree, giving us one of the few instants of the playable lawyer actually losing when the defendant is innocent.
    • due to the actions of 3-4, she gave Mia a trauma from the courtroom for 8 full months.
    • she poisoned Diego Armando and put him in a coma for years. which is another win over her rival, Mia.
    • she successfully silenced Doug Swallow and was very close to silencing Phoenix Wright, manipulating him for 8 full months that he was willing to die for her.
    • despite losing the trial and getting executed, she was confident she would return again anyways (thanks to Spirit Channeling).
    • she conspirated with Morgan Fey to get revenge on Misty and her daughters. Misty formed an alliance to thwart her plans but she still successfully got Misty killed.
    • she didn't get to kill Maya, but she still pushed Godot, who is a lawyer who once fought for the truth and bringing criminals to justice, to literally committing murder.
    • Maya didn't die but she still witnessed a murder in first-person, of her mother no less, by her sister's old boyfriend. so she gave Maya a very traumatic experience.
    • due to the previous incident, Iris was arrested for being blackmailed to tamper with the crime scene.
    • and in the end, despite causing this whole incident, they couldn't pin any crimes on her as she was technically "the victim" of the case.
    • she is even the reason Winston Payne lost his hair dammit!

    which makes me wonder if Mia really beat her in the end. it is already too late, she ruined a lot of people's lives. Valerie, Fawles, Mia, Diego, Doug, Phoenix, Misty, Maya, everyone was either killed or got their life ruined somehow. her existence is a curse to everyone around her.

    I think Iris' motivation is still the most confusing mess T&T has given us

    She agrees to go out with Phoenix disguised as her sister because…..she didn't help her commit robbery with double homicide

    Anyway, she ends up falling for him, but she just kinda steps away and allows Dahlia's plan to continue. Probably knowing full well, from her previous actions, that Dahlia is, without a doubt, going to kill him. There is literally no explanation to how this switch was even made.

    Agreeing with Misty's last ditch Kamikaze attempt to save Pearl makes sense, at least.

    Any thoughts on the motivations?

    Is ever explained in the game how Maya and Mia come up with the plan for Maya to channel Dahlia?

    From Maya's testimony, she never saw her attacker (she couldn't even tell if it was a woman or a man), and even if she did see she never met Dahlia. So I don't see get how they could figure out that the attacker was a dead Dahlia and that Maya would have to channel her to stop future attacks. Also, for the channeling to work Maya would have to know her name and her face which again would be impossible as the garden was dark.

    Is there something that I missing? The only way I see this working is if Godot met either Mia or Maya and explained to her what was happening and also gave a picture of Dahlia. I guess it makes sense, but the game seems to imply that Maya and Mia come with the plan alone.

    Personally I like the step ladder vs ladder joke, Oldbag hitting on Edgeworth, and the main character (phoenix, apollo, edgeworth) getting made fun of all the time by everyone.

    I wish Athena got more love

    I've been feeling nostalgic, and been thinking about my favorite games. I wish 4-6 got more attention. I understand why people don't like them, but I absolutely love Dual Destinies and SoJ. It's a shame so few people will be able to play them once the eshop goes offline.

    I wonder if Athena is ever going to get more attention. I get that some people don't like her, but she's my favorite character, and she has so much room to grow as a character. Phoenix has already had his arc. And nobody is going to start to like Athena if they don't use her, right? Idk. Just wish I could get more of my favorite character in the series. Was in the mood to talk about it.

    A Turnabout Samurai Musical is going to be performed at the Minnesota Fringe Festival this year!

    So remember when last year I bugged you all about Turnabout Musical being performed at the Minnesota Fringe festival? Well this year the same theatre company is performing a musical of Turnabout Samurai! The same award-winning cast is reprising their roles!
