    Update on character-themed user flairs

    It took a lot of effort, but I've rolled out a new set of character mugshot flairs that should work across all New Reddit and mobile interfaces!

    Unfortunately, due to the built-in limit of 300 slots, I couldn't comprehensively fit in every character, but the vast majority of characters from the original Trilogy, AA4/5/6, both Investigations games, and TGAAC can now be used. A small handful of main characters from the Layton crossover is available as well.

    Next, I'll be implementing all of these flairs in the Old Reddit design as well, so if you've noticed any issues with those in the last couple of days, just sit tight for a bit and I ought to have them working again ASAP.

    If you encounter any other issues, please inform me in this thread!

    My theory about Matt Engarde

    I think that Matt Engarde is the way he is because he always had this natural charm that he used to get whatever he wanted. He never learned to treat people as people and he didn't see any real value in human life. Only in whatever people can do for him. That's why he uses everyone and anyone. He even used Nick, who despite being blackmailed, still came from a good place in wanting to help Engarde.

    Also, I think de Killer impersonated a prison guard and got his revenge on him within the same week of his sentencing. Though before this, Engarde probably already made a few friends in prison. People he was planning on using later

    WINNER of the Best Ace Attorney Spinoff Culprit Tournament!

    Simon Keyes won the tournament with 87 votes defeating McGilded with 67 votes.

    He was kind of the expected winner but at least McGilded put up a relatively good fight.

    I had a lot of fun doing this so tomorrow, I'm going to start doing this tournament but with the spinoff victims instead. I think that should be interesting because victims are generally not talked about a lot in the series.

    (Hopefully) Last update on character-themed flairs!

    And after a mountain of effort and frustration with CSS, I am done. The full rollout of new character mugshot flairs for New Reddit, mobile, and Old Reddit (if you're like me and refuse to switch from it) is finished!

    Like I said in the last thread on the matter, there's a cap for the number of flairs I'm allowed to add that prevents me including every possible character, but the vast majority of the Trilogy, AA456, TGAAC, and Investigations casts are now available as flairs, along with a small handful of major characters from PLvAA.

    Enjoy your flairs, everyone, and if you find that the one you normally use has been accidentally changed, just go ahead and swap it back to normal. That should work unless you're extremely unlucky and happened to be using a character who had to be cut to make room for new additions. Nothing we can do for that, unfortunately.
