How would you feel about an Ace Attorney Investigations collection for all modern platforms?

    Posted: 27 Jan 2022 12:50 PM PST

I feel like the investigations series is heavily underrated. With 2 being one of if not the best in the series. Would it seem possible that something like a collection could happen in the future?

Does anyone have "The Bitter Taste of Truth" OST from the last episode? The "remastered" version was deleted a year ago and I still can't find it. Please.

I finished playing Apollo Justice for the first time and am in awe of how good it is

    Posted: 27 Jan 2022 10:09 AM PST

I tried not to include major spoilers haha.

Turnabout Corner was the only "filler" case, but all the others had an overarching plot that connected to each other and it worked so well! Apollo is pretty great, Klavier is fun, Ema is so much funnier (read: relatable) as an adult, and I would die for Trucy.

I would also die for Phoenix Wright because if I already liked him before I absolutely stan the man now.

I'm still not completely understanding why Shadi would try to accuse Phoenix of cheating in the beginning though. After he said Phoenix was trustworthy and was grateful to him... THAT'S how he decides to repay him? I know he was pissy about losing poker but damn.

In conclusion, I've only played the first four main games (still looking for the others because they are literally impossible to find!!!), but Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney might be my first or second favorite so far.

Side note: Wocky is basically Prison Mike from The Office lol

What's with the double standard when it comes to the burden of proof?

    Posted: 28 Jan 2022 02:31 AM PST

The criminal system in the games operates on a guilty until proven innocent basis, and the burden of proof lies on the defense, to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant is innocent.

So what's up with the double standard when Phoenix accuses another culprit of having committed the crime? Suddenly everyone claims he's made a baseless accusation and the burden is on him to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the accused is in fact the real culprit.

    The Futures of TGAA Characters

    Posted: 27 Jan 2022 06:36 PM PST

What are your headcanons regarding the futures of TGAA's characters, specifically:

    Ryunosuke Naruhodo

    Susato Mikotoba

    Kazuma Asogi

    Herlock Sholmes

    Iris Wilson

    Barok van Zieks

    Gina Lestrade

You can include future occupations, potential death years, love interests, families, descendants, etc. For death years, assume that the game takes place in 1900, since this is the most likely year based on Stronghart's comments about the start of the new century, Sōseki Natsume being 33, etc.

Who's the better Chronicles 3rd case victim?

    Posted: 27 Jan 2022 02:57 PM PST

Last round, William Shamspeare won with 94 votes followed by Kazuma Asogi close behind with 93 votes. Duncan Ross was at last with 36 votes.

I like both of these victims, but I got to choose Milverton here just because of that poignant flashback.

The Lost Turnabout - A piece of evidence with flimsy logic...

    Posted: 27 Jan 2022 11:30 AM PST

So... I'm playing through the series for the first time since finishing the first game years ago before stopping after trial 1 of "Rise from the Ashes". Having now finally finished "Rise from the Ashes" and liking it very much I am finally moving on to JFA.

And... well... I'm playing the "Lost Turnabout" and and something happened that gave me some questions and/or complaints...

    SPOILERS FOLLOW

The glove thing... It kinda sucks that you have to have knowledge about how Baseball works, to get this right... I was able to do it, cuz the game was heavily hintind that it was the evidence I had to present. But the thing that bothers me is; The game claims that the victim couldn't have written in the sand with his right hand, because he is left-handed... Umm... what? Maybe if it was about regular writing on paper, this could be something, but when writing stuff THAT BIG and in sand, I don't think what hand you're most comfortable with really matters! I think most people would be able to write in the sand quite well with even their toes!

Oh well... Back to the rest of the case now. Just had to get that out of my system, cuz that was the flimsiest logic I've seen from this series so far! Knowing the reputation of the series, though, I'm guessing I might have to get used to stuff like this.
