    Case 3 was my favourite in both Chronicles games

    Does anyone feel this way? It feels weird to say but it's true for me.

    • 1-1 and 2-1 were fun but ultimately just tutorial cases, so they lacked the weight of later cases.

    • 1-2 was also fun but no trial section.

    • 1-4 and 2-2 were good but Natsume got irritating to me fast so that brought my enjoyment down

    • 1-5 did a great job building the 'state secrets' subplot, but the actual case mystery and villain were underwhelming

    • 2-4 and 2-5 made for an excellent finale, but they feel like one case split in two, so individually they don't measure up.

    Meanwhile you've got 1-3, which brings a lot of new ideas to the table. There's only a trial technically, but the crime scene is brought to you to investigate! Your man is freaking guilty and actually gets away with it! (till he dies). Along with the new juror system and the badass Barok introduction, and you've got plenty to keep you entertained for the whole case.

    But I think I prefer 2-3 slightly more, because you've got the greatest character ever i.e. Herlock Sholmes, and we get to see more of Barok's human side through Harebrayne. Like 1-5, it builds to the excellent finale, but unlike 1-5, the villains were compelling and also tough to crack, and I couldn't even tell who the actual killer was until the last possible moment. So it's a top tier case as far as I'm concerned.

    Some older songs that sound oddly similar to ace attorney music

    I've been listening to progressive rock recently, and I've found quite a few similarities between it and ace attorney music. They have some similar instruments, and one 70s band in particular, called Yes, have some parts of their songs that sound almost exactly like Ace Attorney music. For an example, take Man in a white car . The first 30 seconds sound like a cross examination song. Another one would be Siberian Khatru from 0:08 to about 0:40 which also sounds like an ace attorney song but I can't remember which one. A lot of songs made by them sometimes remind you of ace attorney music but I'd say these two are the clearest examples. If someone else has a few examples with songs from before Ace Attorney that sound similar to it, I accept recommendations.
