No, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles will not contain any spoilers from any other games.

    Posted: 06 Jul 2021 06:29 PM PDT

This question has been asked everyday, so let's settle it now: no, the only link between Chronicles and mainline games is ancestry of Naruhodo/Wright, nothing else. The 2 century gap renders the events of 19th century and 21st century in Ace Attorney universe unconnected to each other.

Therefore, go ahead and play Chronicles with peace of mind. As per this subreddit's sidebar regarding recommended play order, Chronicles can be played at any time.

Do you think Nick is still in contact with Iris?

    Posted: 06 Jul 2021 04:48 PM PDT

She was arrested the last time we saw her, but after Maya and Pearl left for Kurain Village, what was stopping Nick from seeing Iris at visiting hours or at least writing letters to her? They were college lovers, so maybe now they could be friends. It'd be nice seeing Iris out of jail, seeing what she looks like now, and her reaction to Nick's new ahoge hairstyle

Localizing TGAAC has been the perfect way to capitalize on the 2019 Trilogy's success

    Posted: 06 Jul 2021 04:53 PM PDT

I've noticed a recent influx of posts from users who are concerned about TGAAC spoiling any of the other games (it doesn't) which may be early signs of TGAAC's hopeful success. From a strategic standpoint, it's advantageous to be releasing TGAAC vs. a 456 Collection because the latter would require playing the Trilogy as a prerequisite. Capcom would capture a larger market share by releasing a game which uses the Ace Attorney brand and formula, but is otherwise detached from the rest of the lore. The combination of DGS1 + DGS2 are my favorite Ace Attorney games to date, so from a biased standpoint, I also believe TGAAC is the best way to hit it out of the park with Trilogy players. Trilogy players would be coming in with high expectations which TGAAC would not only meet, but exceed thanks to its engrossing characters, beautifully orchestrated music, and carefully crafted story.

TGAAC's stunning visuals and Capcom's increased marketing efforts have been effective so far in increasing the numbers of both interested new players and players looking to rekindle their love for Ace Attorney. The name Ace Attorney is turning heads again and I'm confident that those who purchase TGAAC out of curiosity may just come out of the games as lifelong fans.

(Spoiler) Question about an event in Turnabout Goodbyes

    Posted: 06 Jul 2021 09:12 PM PDT

At the criminal affairs department Prosecutor Manfred Von Karma enters the evidence locker and Phoenix and Maya follow shortly, interacting with Detective Gumshoe beforehand in a clear hurry.

In the evidence locker Phoenix and Maya get tazed by Von Karma, leaving them unconscious for an unknown period of time. During which Von Karma attempts to steal the evidence linking him to DL-6, losing a preserved bullet in the process.

After Phoenix and Maya are rendered unconscious Manfred leaves the criminal affairs department with a large amount of evidence at hand. Anywhere from minutes to hours later, Phoenix and Maya awaken and leave the evidence locker, both likely roughed up, and one in tears.

And the police working there didn't find anything about this suspicious?

There weren't security cameras in or around the evidence locker?

Nobody heard the loud monologing or the tazer?

Nobody thought that the defense attorney's assistant leaving in tears was even noteworthy?

This isn't just Von Karma's scheming, this is police incompetence.

How "out of order" can you play the HD Trilogy?

    Posted: 06 Jul 2021 03:16 PM PDT

I was thinking about getting the HD series, and was thinking about playing a particular case (since I've watched a few online), and wondered can I play the cases out of order? And if not out of order, can I play the games out of order?

    Where is Miles’ mom?

    Posted: 06 Jul 2021 08:18 AM PDT

    Gregory Edgeworth's wife/girlfriend.

She's never mentioned at all, but for some reason I doubt she's dead, and I also doubt that Greg got mpreg and gave birth to Miles. As hilarious as that would be, it probably didn't happen.

What if Miles' mom is still alive, but it's a Lamoire situation where Miles simply doesn't know who she is? Maybe she'll make her first appearance in AA7, or Investigations 3 if that's ever made
