    So, as of this posting, we're about an hour out from the start of Capcom's E3 2021 stream. You can catch the event live here, and feel free to use this space to chat about the show during and after.

    BIG NOTE, READ: Capcom's Twitter confirmed about a week ago that the show will focus on The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, Monster Hunter Stories 2, Monster Hunter Rise, and Resident Evil Village. Don't expect any new Ace Attorney reveals beyond possible new footage for TGAAC. The panel is slated to be less than half an hour long, and Capcom has never made a first-time reveal for an Ae Attorney game at E3 before. They leave that for the Tokyo Game Show in September.

    With that out of the way, enjoy this thread for the show!

    EDIT: Like advertised, we got a nice ten-minute TGAAC segment, no unmentioned surprise announcements.

    Y'all read the title. Just to explain tho, if you were in ace attorney or have this weird ass headcannon you pulled out of nowhere that you most likely be cancelled for, comment it. Simple.

    I'll go first tho: 1. I fucking love Nahyuta with all my heart, despite him being pretty mean, I just don't care💜 2. If I was in AA (I hate to admit it but we have to be honest with ourselves here) I'd most definitely be one of those witnesses who doesn't tell you shit until the very end. (Probably the culprit too)

    So I need some help! In 2017, Material Crown released a line of AA jewllery, including Phoenix and Miles inspired rings. If you haven't seen them, you should google it, they're really pretty! Anyways, my gf and I have always been a fan of the games and highkey want a set of the rings- but as far as i can tell, they don't sell them officially anymore. Is there anyone who knows where we could get a set, maybe secondhand or something like that? Thanks in advance for any help!!

    I don’t like how Phoenix’s opinion about Larry changes from first game to third game.

    In the first game, Larry was Phoenix's childhood friend that Phoenix was defending in court, even though Larry wasn't going to pay him. Larry was part of the reason he became a lawyer, and he was important to him. Then, Larry disappears in JFA and when he comes back in T&T, Phoenix treats him a lot worse, like some kind of problem. In 3-2, upon seeing Larry after all those years Phoenix just thinks: Oh no, it's that moron again.

    What Japanese University Is Ivy/Yumei A Reference To?

    Just a general question I have. I've heard that the university Phoenix and Ryunosuke both attended is a reference to one of Japan's major universities (which is common practice in anime), but I don't know the one. Anyone have an answer?

    Does anyone know if there's anyway at all to send an email or anything like that to Janet Hsu, the ace attorney head translator? I wanted to try my luck sending a fan email, and i've seen one thread from like 5 years ago of someone getting a reply, but didn't show the sauce. I just wanted to try my luck more than anything, and in my own search i've turned up nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

    Is Shu Takumi ever making a new Ace Attorney game?

    He made the first 4 AA games, the Layton Crossover and the TGAA Duology. And honestly, considering that he won't be back at the mainline games and the TGAA Duology concluded. Can we expect a new AA game coming from him?

    People who played The Great Ace Attorney before it was announced, how different is it in tone to the original trilogy?

    I love Ace Attorney because of how bat shit insane it gets sometimes and the character interactions. Can we expect The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles to have the same goofy shenanigans and banter between characters? Or given its time setting, is it more serious in tone and taken a little more seriously?

    (Also is Phoenix's ancestor just as goofy as him sometimes? With bluffing, showing his badge whenever given the opportunity to or actually going up to murder suspects without any thought of his safety like in the first game? He's...a dumbass. But a loveable dumbass)

    Fool Bright (DD)

    God, out of all the people in Dual Destinies, Bobby Fulbright is the weirdest one.

    Detective Fulbright wasn't the greatest character when he was first introduced. He acted too silly, wanted justice but wanted the defendant guilty right away, and acted, all the freaking time, like a clown...

    But like all clowns, we find them creepy, and that's why I think the reveal that Fulbright was the Phantom was the best plot twist in the series so far. When I first saw Fulbright have no emotions, I felt betrayed by him. When he used his gadgets to hack the Mood Matrix, it was almost like he was a completely new person.......

    When Fulbright pulled his FACE OFF, and it was Starbuck, I knew this guy was scum of the Earth. I wished we had the old Fulbright back, which is strange as I never really liked Bobby in the first place.

    The Phantom's breakdown was slightly underwhelming but still good enough to make it a popular breakdown.

    Overall, Fulbright isn't a bad character, (especially when we found out he died a long time ago) but that Phantom is a great villain. (Still hope we find out who he was)

    Hello, with the news of GAA coming over to the west, I was wondering if I would be spoiling myself in anyway if I were to play it. I've only played the main trilogy, and no other spinoffs, so I'm hoping that when I buy this game, I'm not spoiling myself for other entries. Thanks in advance!
