    So, considering the DGS localization part of the Capcom leak has been announced, it seems pretty likely that we'll get another main line game at some point.

    I've seen people on this sub wanting another soft reboot of the series, but honestly I've never been that keen on that idea. The first reboot was honestly a good move. The character arcs of the main cast were pretty much concluded and trying to build on them so soon would really just be boring.

    The problem with doing a soft reboot at this point is that Athena's missing a ton of character development and there are still some plot threads that haven't been tied up *cough* Trucy and Apollo *cough*

    But god I hope another prosecutor or investigator isn't introduced. We have enough recurring characters. We don't need any more.

    We've got Klavier and Franziska who have been MIA since the 3DS phase of the games. It would be much more satisfying to see them return than to add another prosecutor. Maybe that's just my inner fan craving some fanservice, but seeing how Franziska has grown would be really interesting imo.

    Also, I hope the writers don't keep trying to up the stakes. We've literally reformed the legal system of an entire country; let's just go back to our little adventure in Japanifornia. I personally find smaller, interpersonal conflicts much more interesting anyway (although I did really enjoy SOJ).

    Something that's always bugged me throughout Investigations 2

    The fact you never play Logic Chess against any actual chess players (i.e. Horace, Dogen, Simon, possibly Franziska) and it low-key feels like Edgeworth's just beating people at a game they don't know how to play. Like an actual chess player could trick you with knowing how to hide an opening for Edgeworth's attack "a check" if you will at least late game.

    Culprit Opinions: Investigations 1 Case 5

    Opinions on Quercus Alba and what standard he will make when it will come to other games in the series? Not just the spin-offs, but like the mainline series in general.

    My opinion on Alba is he is the example of an Ace Attorney villain who can put one over the edge. Lies, bantering, greed, power, and well... A status that protects him from legal action, at least until it's revoked when the case was in American soil.

    I'm in the UK and I plan on pre-ordering TGAAC. I'm disappointed there's no physical release in Europe (the games are literally set in my country, it makes no sense), however if I order a copy from America will it work? I've heard regions don't matter with the Switch but I just want to double check because I haven't ever needed to do it before.
