Idea for a new mechanic for AA7: Selectable & replaceable assistants. Posted: 18 Apr 2021 05:54 PM PDT For each case you could chose between multiple assistants all with unique abilities which would help in and out of trials, and you would be able to switch them out whenever you wanted in the investigation segments. From there what if we had Athena's Mood Matrix, and Trucy's lie detection not be plot sensitive parts of the game which are used in specific moments, but mere gameplay tools to help with the investigation. Then we could have a new character act as a hard mode. Someone who would not give any assistance or even give a tutorial if selected first and would allow the player to grab as evidence, unrelated objects. Personally I imagine this character as some cynical and sarcastic guy Wright employed as their doorman and secretary. But that's just fan fic at this point. [link] [comments]

Do you hate Ace Attorney's legal system? Posted: 18 Apr 2021 08:49 PM PDT Ace Attorney's legal system isn't viewed favorably in other fandoms... If you try to crossover Ace Attorney in another franchise for that protagonist of that franchise to be the "lawyer" in that case. Everyone will start to notice how ridiculous and stupid Ace Attorney's legal system can be, especially if it's extremely flawed or without mystery what-so-ever. I get that Ace Attorney's core is the legal system and solving mysteries through lawyering to find the true culprit. But it's nothing realistic compared to real-life law and our court system. Since people complain that Ace Attorney is a "parody" of a dysfunctional legal system. And trying to incorporate Ace Attorney's legal into different franchise is gonna be seen as disfavorable than favorable. What do you think? Do you or other people hate Ace Attorney's trial system? Because honestly, I don't see what the harm for doing in other franchises seems to be the big issue. [link] [comments]
