Is AAI2 getting more hate recently? Posted: 27 Jul 2020 03:29 PM PDT When the AAI2 fan translation first came out most people loved it and it was quickly considered by many one of, if not the best ace attorney game. However, recently I've seen more and more detractors for the game claiming it was overhyped and that it's one of the weaker games in the franchise, I'm sure detractors of the game have always existed but I feel like they're becoming more and more commonplace. What I'm wondering is what caused this shift in the discourse of the game and if you agree with them. (also if maybe it's just me and the discourse of the game was always the same since day 1) [link] [comments]

This game requires strong attention to detail. Posted: 27 Jul 2020 04:12 PM PDT Have you guys caught a lot of spelling or grammar mistakes? I am surprise that people are able to catch these mistakes out. I am guessing people that play visual novels are extremely detail oriented. [link] [comments]
Shadowy Blight Case 1: Turnabout Tourist Posted: 27 Jul 2020 07:32 PM PDT If you need to know what this is talking about, look at this post here. This is a description of Case 1 of this theoretical fangame. Defendant: Robert Gumshoe, nephew of Dick Gumshoe. He's a trial historian, and just came into town two days ago. Prosecutor: Winston Payne, reprising his role from the OG trilogy as the first prosecutor. Attorney: Piper. At this point in the game, Piper remembers literally nothing about who they are or what happened to them, they just went to the courthouse because they saw a post-it written in their handwriting telling them to. This case features 3 witnesses, being the defendant, the sandwich seller, and the killer. Basic plot: The killer has a vendetta against Robert, and therefore poisoned the sandwich he was about to buy, but Rob ended up giving the sandwich to his "special someone" after they drop their own, ending up with the friend getting killed by the poison. Robert is actually in Tenshi-tachi on a trip as a gift from his "special someone" celebrating his eighteenth birthday, taking a plane trip to his uncle's hometown. Robert believes that the victim's death is at least, partially, his fault. He doesn't know why the sandwich was poisoned, but he KNOWS that poison was meant for him. He's the first one on the stand, and you spend the first act getting it proven that he couldn't have been able to poison the sandwich. In the second act, you examine Sam Dewich, the sandwich seller. He runs a traveling sandwich stall, but has fallen on hard times recently. after running out of tonkatsu sauce, he ended up having to borrow some from the guy who ends up being the killer. Now, we come to the third and final act, in which you examine this case's killer, Cory Ague. He ends up being the one who gave Sam the duck sauce. He manages to avoid suspicion for this by selling some sandwiches working at a front developed for the express purpose of killing Robert and framing someone else, but making sure to give Sam the poisoned sauce. When Sam was taking a break, Cory took Sam's sauce and squirted a good chunk of it into the trash. During Cory's cross-examination, he crafts an alibi through a logical series of events that he supposedly did during Sam's break, but this eventually gets invalidated once Piper's Pressure minigame forces him to keep adding bits and actions to his alibi until he couldn't conceivably do all the things he says he does in the specified timeframe. Once he gets revealed, he gets locked away and set an execution date for premediated murder. After this, we get a post- trial scene of Robert trying to leave at the airport before realizing that, since his "special someone" was the one who actually could afford the plane tickets, and ended up dying before purchasing the return tickets, Rob can't actually afford the plane ticket home, and ends up staying in Piper's apartment they have, to the surprise of both Rob and Piper. Rob, upon learning about Piper's memory problems, decides to help them figure out who they are by trying to figure things out by researching some old cases. This sets up the partnership of Piper and Rob, with Rob acting as Piper's "straight man" to counteract Piper's own strange and outlandish personality. This case also features Piper throwing a rock labeled "The Shut-up Rock" at Payne about halfway through the trial, being this game's abusive attorney. Tell me what you think! [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 Jul 2020 10:09 AM PDT Hey everybody, I've been wanting to play the trillogy for some time now, but I'm wondering which platform would be the best for it. I currently own a N3DSXL, a Samsung Galaxy S8+ and a nice PC. Since this game is available on all of them, in which one should I start? [link] [comments]

Anyone know why Capcom refused to release Ace Attorney Trilogy on Android? Posted: 27 Jul 2020 04:51 AM PDT It's out on every single platform ever and the Japanese version is out in Japan, but no English release. [link] [comments]
How is the grammar in the series? Posted: 27 Jul 2020 04:24 AM PDT Since it is a visual novel, I want to use it to learn and expand my English skills. [link] [comments] |
