Mr.Nick has chosen death (btw I just drew some random woman, she has nothing to do with anything)

The only Video game based reddit award is Ace attorney based Lawyer up and im loving it.

It's difficult to overstate just how incisive the Ace Attorney series was in its critique of the justice system (and even the police in RftA)

    Question about phoenixs college education

    Posted: 31 May 2020 09:14 PM PDT

Does anyone know the details of phoenixs college education? From the first trilogy, it was implied he transferred to law but is it possible to transfer grades from art to law? So i thought he abandobed art major in favor of law.

But from the third game, it was implied it was a side like a minor or maybe a diploma since iirc he finished in two years? But are those eligible to become a lawyer though? Shouldnt you have a bachelors degree to take the bar exam??

from the wiki, looks like he took two separate undergrad programs side by side by tge age of 20: art AND law? But idk it just reeks... over dedication... So which one is plausible?

Also ive heard ppl mentioned his art major specialty is drama? Ive always assumed art means like painting or sculptures and iirc he commented on the art stuff in the law school in DD but its been long since i played DD....

Just finished the first game. Is there any other in the series that meets that standard?

    Posted: 31 May 2020 11:41 AM PDT

I just completed the original Phoenix Wright on my DS, and it was phenomenal. I'm well aware that the series extends for tons more games, but in my experience a lot of sequels lack the quality of the original. What game would you guys recommend? The platform doesn't matter.

How hasn't anyone made a fangame based on Saul Goodman yet?

    Posted: 31 May 2020 06:35 PM PDT

Like I get that the venn diagram of "people who play ace attorney," "people who watch breaking bad," and "people capable of crafting games" is insanely specific, but come on, his name is literally Saul Goodman, that shit's ace attorney gold! A crooked defense attorney squares up against Edgeworth, a battle of who can forge the best evidence, or twist the tables around, make the prosecutor the more by the books underdog and Goodman pulling the "that autopsy is outdated" move. Hell, I might learn how to make games myself just to get this idea going

    What was Edgeworth's original excuse?

    Posted: 31 May 2020 02:35 PM PDT

I'm in the middle of JFA, and obviously spoilers if you haven't played Edgeworth left. That's explained in AA's Rise from the Ashes, but I'm curious. In the original GameBoy games, how did they cover Edgeworth's leave?

Which ship do you think will end up canon? (I'm genuinely curious as to what people think+sorry if this has been asked before)

Question: In the spirit of the Great Ace Attorney series, if Capcom were to make another period drama AA title, which time period would you like to see them explore?

Does 6-5's villain remind you of Frieza/Freeza from Dragon Ball Z? *Spoilers*

    Posted: 31 May 2020 11:08 PM PDT

(I'm going to stick with the American Funimation Dub named "Frieza" cause that's where most people recognize that name.)

Does Ga'ran Sigatar Khura'in remind you of Emperor Lord Frieza/Freeza from Dragon Ball Z by any chance?

    Both characters:
    -Abused their power.
    -Did Genocide. It backfired.
-Both are "Classic Villains". Frieza represents Ambition, Envy, and Wrath. While Ga'ran represents Ambition and Envy.
-Both were above the law. Ga'ran becoming ruler through usurpation made her the law and laid down Judge, Jury, and Executioner. Frieza ruled an Empire so huge in the Galaxy that it was impossible to counter him.
-Both were heinous sociopaths who cared no one but themselves.
    -Both made evil laughs.
-Both did something that pushes the hero's limit. Dhurke being shown dead and Amara getting shot. While in Goku's case, he got his best friend Krillin which resulted in the birth of the Super Saiyan Transformation.
-Both of their actions carried long-lasting consequences and impacts. So far, as to calling them "Greater-Scope Villains".
-Both did their own "Create Your Own Villain". Without their crimes, the hero is never be.
-Both carried a "Villainous Legacy" about the hero and how they are here as they are.

    What do you think?

    Help, anyone?

    Posted: 31 May 2020 03:56 PM PDT

So I might just be being stupid here, but basically I'm making a case on Ace Attorney Online (this one: http://aaonline.fr/)

And I'm having a few problems with uploading external sprites for the evidence images

Essentially, I spent an hour or so making an icon using a few different programs, then downloaded the image to my computer before uploading it (in both png and jpg format) to an image hosting service. But when I paste either of the URLs back into the evidence section, the image doesn't seem to appear. :(

I tried a few different services, even including google drive when I got desperate, but none of them make any difference lmao

For control, I also searched up someone else's custom evidence sprite and pasted the URL for that in, and the image appeared like it should have. So I can only assume it's something I'm doing wrong here

I even cropped it to a square to make sure it'd fit but that didn't seem to help either

It's probably a bit of a longshot asking here, but there's a chance someone will notice some kinda glaring mistake in what I've been doing, so I thought I'd give it a shot anyway

Kudos if you made it all the way through, lol

Is anyone here who have played Ace Attorney have decided to became a defense attorney/prosecutor because of playing of this game?

Maybe someone else have asked the question before I'm really curious about it.
