Would you apply to be a scenario director to write Ace Attorney 7 or ask them when the next game is coming out?

To me, I would ask them when is it coming out?

    Case summaries?

    Posted: 28 Mar 2020 03:16 PM PDT

Hi, I'm planning on playing the last case in Spirit of Justice again, but I don't remember much of the other cases in the game. Is there a place that has summaries I can use to refresh my memories? I don't want to go to YouTube playthroughs (too long), just a quick few sentence summary of the important parts of the pervious cases.

    Defending Sahdmadhi (minor SoJ spoilers)

    Posted: 28 Mar 2020 07:26 AM PDT

I played Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice for the first time about 2/3 weeks ago, and I am rather aware of the fact that most people think that Nahyuta is one of the most boring prosecutors and one of those who develops least. I have no objections on the first, as that is a very subjective opinion (I personally enjoyed him quite well, though I do think that the Cultural Barrier should've been played Up to Eleven), however, I must object to the second. Don't get me wrong, that's definitely true. However, it isn't a criticism against Nahyuta as much as it is a criticism to the structure of the game itself.

I was reading some old threads earlier and saw a few arguments that Nahyuta doesn't really change his opinion of you throughout the game unlike most other characters like Edgeworth, who starts helping you, and Godot, who seems to start respecting you as a lawyer, which would've been fair if not for the fact that you never actually face him twice.

Throughout the game, you faced Nahyuta in court thrice, once as each character. (Apollo in Magical, Phoenix in Rites, and Athena in Storyteller). There's no reason for him to start respecting you or anything, as each time you face against him, it's his first time facing against you and you have to earn any kind of respect all over again.

However, this doesn't change the fact that he barely changes until Turnabout Revolution, where it's revealed that he's still a good guy, but it does change the culprit. It's not that Nahyuta's writing is static, it's the game's structure that doesn't allow the writing to move forward. The only thing they can do to work around it is to drop some tidbits of information about Nahyuta's real self to build up Turnabout Revolution.

The defense argues that a complete acquittal is in order for the trial of Nahyuta Sahdmadhi's writing!
