    I've seen people bring this subject up plenty of times... sharing their ideas, discussing who their main character would be, what the story would be like etc. Well, this is my take on in. And in my take on a new Investigations game, the main character would not be Simon Blackquill or Klavier or Ema. It would be a prosecutor that's loved by many people, despite the fact that the games never tapped into her true potential and how interesting a character she really could have been. In case you haven't figured out who I'm talking about here, it's none other than Miss Perfection, Franziska von Karma.

    Here's how the story would go down. At the beginning, we see a flashback of Franziska visiting her father in prison, during which Franziska and Manfred have a heated conversation in which with Franziska questions her father's tactics. Manfred then berates his daughter for not being perfect, and Franziska storms out of there with tears in her eyes, having realized that her upbringing to be perfect was based on a lie and that the von Karma name is tainted. From that point on, Franzy makes a promise to herself to clear her family name. And to do so, she begins re-examining high profile cases her father was in charge of that ended in questionable fashion. During her journey, she will be met with lots of people who despise her, simply for being a Von Karma, and she will witness many tragedies that were caused by her own father's actions. But in the end, she will make the truth shine, even if that means she has to make some of her father's closest allies into her enemies.

    In this game, the player would encounter many characters from the old trilogy, such as Miles, Kay and Shi-Long (maybe Phoenix could be mentioned too). But of course, Franziska also needs to have her personal assistant. And that person is a rookie prosecutor that also had his world shattered before his eyes, a prosecutor who also had his fair share of daddy issues, a prosecutor that most people thought to be an idiot and a waste of time... And that rookie prosecutor is none other than Sebastian Debeste. I choose Sebastian to play the role of the assistant because I can see Franziska relating to Sebastian in terms of how rough their upbringing was and because I can see her want to shape Sebastian into a better prosecutor and stand by him as a big sister, much like how Miles stood by Franziska as an old-I mean "younger" brother. The dynamic between the perfect Franziska and clueless Sebastian has the potential for many wholesome, as well as hilarious moments.

    Well... That's pretty much it. Any thoughts on this?

    There's a misconception about the directors and who writes the story on the last two main Ace Attorney

    So, in discussions it's always said that Takeshi Yamazaki is the director on the last two mainline games but I was surprised while looking to the credits for them and it's not exactly what it's said. Same for the story aspects where there's actually more than one person. Basically, he's credited as such, much like the other director:

    Dual Destinies

    Story Director: Takeshi Yamazaki

    Game Director: Yasuhiro Seto

    Story: Yuki Nakamura, Hironao Fukuda, Kouki Fuse

    Additional Story: Yukinori Kitajima (Synthese Co. Ltd.)
