A message to a few of you guys out there.

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 08:17 PM PST

I'm sure a lot of you saw the Trucy cosplay I posted yesterday, and thankfully a lot of people left a great deal of very nice and wholesome comments.

However there were a handful of you out there who left some very suggestive and creepy comments on the post and that led to the cosplayer asking me to take down the post because she saw those comments, because she is in fact a minor and didn't like people making suggestive comments about her appearance.

I respected her wishes and took the post down, which is unfortunate because it's an awesome cosplay and belongs on this subreddit, however there were a couple of people out there who messed that up.

Just remember to think about what you comment. This isn't an overtly NSFW subreddit, so any comments you leave can be damaging in some way. You don't know the age, gender, what have you of the people who show up in posts or in comments, so make sure the things you say don't have the potential to make somebody uncomfortable.

TLDR: Just because you're hidden behind a username, don't act like a jackass.

On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the Ace Attorney fandom in terms of toxicity?

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 10:59 PM PST

Not trying to start a war, but, what would you as an individual rate the Ace Attorney fandom in terms of how toxic it is? I personally have only been a fan for a few months, and on this subreddit for even less than that, so maybe I'm not the right person to rank it, but, overall, I do think the fandom is overall pretty chill and most of the toxic parts of it are ironic. Maybe a 2-3/10 on the scale. I'd like to note that by making this post, I'm not trying to suggest that the fandom is indeed toxic. I just wanna know from people other than myself what they think about it. And if anything, what I'm trying to do with this post is get people to either, A, take a look at the fandom as a whole and appreciate the friendliness of it, or B, taking a look at it and realizing that there are things we as a community can improve upon, and later doing so so we can grow as a fandom and rise from the ashes, and not get sucked into the depths of what other fandoms have gone to.

IN-UNIVERSE NEWS: GYAXA announces HAT-1 launch for October

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 08:38 AM PST

    by Daley Bugle

Just days after the new year, GYAXA has announced the first in a new series of space exploration missions.

Dubbed the HAT-1, the first launch has been scheduled for October 8.

"My men have been planning this incredible exploration for months," said Yuri Cosom, director of the Cosmos Space Center. "It is my joy to finally announce this to the country and the world at large."

While the precise details of the mission have not yet been announced, Cosmos has been confirmed that one of the aims of HAT-1 will be collecting asteroid samples for analysis.

"We live on one stone in an enormous universe. We have the capability to explore, to uncover! It is our duty to go," Cosmos said.

Additionally, Cosmos announced that Solomon Starbuck, 25, a "young, brilliant astronaut with an unparallelled mind for the universe," will lead the HAT-1 crew.

"I've never been content on the ground," Starbuck said. "It's always had the desire to blast off into the sky, and it's an honor to be selected by Mr. Cosmos for this opportunity."

Cosmos stated that further details will be announced as the launch approaches.

"We're proud to lead the charge into exploring this vast expanse above and around us," he said. "Though they will return to the earth, it takes brave men to leave the world."

Can you use the mic in the PS4 trilogy version?

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 11:32 AM PST

I was just wondering if there's mic support in the PS4 version of the game to shout things like "objection" or "hold it"? Like in the mobile versions of the game.

What kind of Big Bad character would you like to see in Ace Attorney 7?

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 12:57 PM PST

So to recap, our "Big Bads", who are the ultimate irredeemable Complete Monster characters who show up as the villains of the biggest cases, as well as potentially during the course of the game either on screen or in the background, have been as follows:

Ace Attorney: Manifred von Karma Justice For All: Matt Engarde Trials and Tribulations: Dahlia Hawthorne Apollo Justice: Kristoph Gavin Ace Attorney Investigations 1: Quercus Alba Dual Destinies: Bobby Fulbright AKA The Phantom Spirit of Justice: Queen Ga'ran Sigatar Khura'in

So bearing in mind the character traits, the positions they hold, and their relevance and relationship to the story and our protaganists, what kind of stuff would you like to see for whatever new character ends up being the Big Bad of Ace Attorney 7.

For me, I'd like to see a character removed from law enforcement and the legal profession, since I for me I don't think it's a coincidence that the two very best villains in Ace Attorney history have been Matt Engarde and Dahlia Hawthorne.

As a big fan of the Danganronpa games, I'd appreciate a genius psychopath killer of the Junko Enoshima or Nagito Komaeda mould. Someone who just outright enjoys the thought and action of killing people because of some twisted mentality, and perhaps they've dreamed of fucking with Phoenix and co in court.

    What would you guys want?

what is your opinion on Phoenix being the main prosecutor of AA7?

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 02:59 PM PST

Now Phoenix was sort of a Prosecutor in Soj

But whats your opinion on Phoenix having to fight his own students Apollo and Athena "the student must beat the teacher sort of scenario"

Imagine the idea Phoenix the same guy that has been in the series since the start,Now his friends have to go against him throughout the game.

I't certainly not impossible for a defense attorney to work as a prosecutor Godot is an example
"do I think this will ever happen" my answer is no

    Question about 5-DLC *spoilers*

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 09:44 AM PST

I don't really understand the logic of Sasha's arrest. She was the one who brought the case to Phoenix and asked him to defend Orla, so why would she be the criminal? Some might say, (AJ spoilers) Alita Tiala was guilty yet she was the one who asked Apollo to defend Wocki, but that was because she believed Apollo, being a rookie, would be a worse lawyer than whatever state-appointed attorney was chosen, making it more likely he was found guilty. . In this case, Orla wasn't even going to be given a trial, they were already prepared to kill her, so Sasha wouldn't have needed to do anything to get away with killing Shipley, yet she asked Phoenix to defend her, potential risking that he would fine out about her supposed crime.
