| Posted: 31 Jan 2022 11:29 PM PST In Q2 2021, Chronicles first quarter on the market, it was reported that the AA franchise has sold 400K units. AAT 2019 Sold 100K units, and since the only other game besides TGAA:C having its sales counted was DGS2(3DS), it's safe to say the other 300K was chronicles. In Q3 2021, it was reported that the franchise sold 300K units. AAT 2019 sold 100K units again, and since Q2 was the final quarter to have DGS 2's sales counted, it's easy to say the other 200K was thanks to chronicles. So 200K+300K= 500k. While this may not seem like a huge number, chronicles is only 25K units away from beating SOJ's life time sales. And it's only 140K units away from Capcom's expected life time sales(units sold by the end of the 4th year on the market.) Honestly if Chronicle's keeps the pace it has now, it'll be the second best selling entry in a year, year and a half. [link] [comments] | ||

I don't know if anyone had a similar experience that I had, but I was adjusting the jar over and over and over again in a way that I thought really did look like the blue badger. So I looked up a walkthrough and sure enough I had the right answer but the game didn't register that I found the solution. So I had to carefully finesse and rotate the jar over and over and over and over and over again until it was satisfied with laser perfect accuracy. I legit wanted to throw my laptop out my window because of how frustrating it was. [link] [comments] | ||

| Watching Let's Plays of Ace Attorney is Fun, but Dragging. I've created the solution. Posted: 31 Jan 2022 10:36 AM PST If you're like me, when you first discovered this game series, you loved it so much that you wanted to share the experience with.............someone..................anyone...................but you couldn't. It's common that whenever there's a movie or a game that you really liked, you wanted to share your thoughts and hear the reactions from your friends. But because this is a game about the law from 2001, I couldn't find anyone in high school who would openly relate. It sucks because Ace Attorney has so many clever revelations, plot twists and funny moments that made the game so memorable, but I had no one to share it with. Because of this, I went onto YouTube and started watching LPs of the game, all because I wanted to see and hear the reactions of people who loved the series as much as I did. I think that's the biggest reason why a lot of people watch any Let's Play. But when it comes to LPs of Ace Attorney, there is one big problem with them. Ace Attorney has a lot of funny moments as well as mind-blowing moments, and of course those moments where you feel like the smartest man on Earth. Seeing those in the form of facial expressions and audible gasps are very entertaining to watch in Let's Plays. But when you've already played the game, watching the YouTuber go through all of that boring filler text becomes a real drag; This is especially a problem when considering that a lot of people like to rewatch LPs. Because of how boring everything is in-between the reactions and funny moments, you just wanna skip through the video to get to the highlights (because relating to other players' reactions of certain moments is the big reason why I would watch them), but because of the much larger ratio of the boring text between the reaction highlights, it would get to the point where it wasn't worth the extra steps. I felt like there was something that could be done about this annoyance, and in January of 2021, I started my solution to this problem. I created a channel on YouTube specifically geared towards uploading highlight compilation videos of YouTuber Let's Plays within the Ace Attorney Series. No dragged text reading. Only the reactions and funny moments. *BEFORE YOU CLICK OFF OF THIS POST\* I get it. Being a compilation YouTuber is a pretty disreputable and "iffy" thing to do, because in most cases you're just trying to profit off of someone else's success. I want to state, monetization is not the purpose of my channel. This channel was created as, and still is, just a spare time hobby for me. Any compilation that I've uploaded will come with me fully encouraging the viewer to subscribe to the original channel that made the LP, and channels that I make the compilations from can ask to demonetize the videos, and whenever a takedown request is brought to me (only once so far for Ray Narvaez Jr.) I immediately comply without debating. I have also received "comments of endorsement" from some of the channels themselves, including Sobata92 and Pixel Partners, so it's not like what I'm doing is a terrible thing, because even the Let's Players themselves have the same thoughts as I do, where even if it's their own playthrough, "Watching the whole LP of Ace Attorney just doesn't seem worth the time needed to drag through the boring text again." My channel also helps out other channels in a way. Many of the channels that I make compilations for have the Ace Attorney fan-base imbedded in their subscriber count, so my channel can be seen as a way to introduce these Ace Attorney fans to all these different channels that played them. Remember, all of the compilations are of highlights, so every video can be entertaining to you, even if you have never seen/heard of the YouTuber before. In addition to making the compilations, I created a Google Form for viewers to suggest a channel of which they want me to make a compilation for, so your suggestions will be taken into account.
