    Has anyone else taken notice to the text scrolls? I like how they go slower or faster and pause for commas and elipses. It really makes it feel like you're hearing actual people talk with different cadences and tempo. It's such a small thing but it's something you don't see in many other games. I really feel like I know how the characters are talking rather than just looking at a box with text.

    Anyone else? What other small details in these games just add that extra layer of polish for you?

    Spoilers for TGAAC2-4 and 5.

    I can't help but feel bad for Barok. He idolized his brother for so many years, only to find out that his brother wasn't a victim of the serial killer called "The Professor". Rather, his brother was The Professor. He had no real reason to hate Japanese people. Kazuma's behavior towards him during the trial may have been cold, but it was justified when you consider this fact.

    Also, don't forget that he shouldered the blame for crimes he didn't commit. All of this was in the name of keeping London safe. He didn't seem to have very many people he could rely on, since he took it upon himself to investigate Gregson's activities alone, and he even had a tough time finding a lawyer.

    I'm glad that he became friends with Ryunosuke in the end. Barok deserves friends.

    Using trilogy here loosely, just a convenient way to group the game. Talking about Apollo Justice, Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice. They've already got mobile "HD" versions, and the Phoenix Wright trilogy is pretty popular and had a really great reception on Steam.

    What was the extent Shu Takumi's involvement in Apollo Justice/Gyakuten Saiban 4?

    He's credited as the "scenario writer", but what exactly does that mean? Is the game's story his? Did he come up with the characters and their backstories? The cases?

    The only thing in particular I know is he originally didn't want any returning characters at all, but they ended up including Phoenix

    What is going on with the English voice acting?

    In the lead up to release, we got a few voice samples of the characters speaking full sentences in English only to find.... absolutely none of it in TGAA apart from within cutscenes or as narration before each case. A huge let down as I was hoping we'd finally get a fully voiced Ace Attorney game.

    We jump to TGAA:R and we get a bit of both. Sometimes in cutscenes, sometimes not. It threw me off guard completely.

    What I want to know is did something happen for the voice acting to not appear at its full capacity in the games?
    There's clips in the vaults of everyone reciting famous lines from the game but none of them are ever utilised. Just what on earth happened?

    Sholmes, my boy, just got f*cking SHOT. Game says he's okay, thank goodness, but I am considerably more pissed at the culprits of this case now. Maybe more pissed at them than Shelly De Killer, honestly. Gonna get back to it now, see ya-
