Recipe for Turnabout might be one of my favorite cases in the franchise Posted: 03 Jul 2021 07:24 PM PDT Replaying this case and I fucking love it, not because the story is a masterpiece, not because the mystery is great, it's because on how stupid this case is. I don't get why people hate this case so much. It's doesn't take itself seriously. It's mainly for humor and just for fun, and it's fucking hilarious. This case is just good, and because especially the next two cases are just depressing and intense. We need one case that doesn't take itself seriously. And it's the best 3rd case in the original trilogy [link] [comments]

Why I much preferred DD's final plottwist over AAI2's Posted: 03 Jul 2021 04:15 PM PDT The final case is, who killed the president, the president is a body double, okay then, the president has a son who accidentally killed him, okay. But then the big twist: a hot air balloon, a pretty good murder weapon to crush someone under, flying in the middle of the city isn't noticed next to a giant police/government building, and the only evidence is a photo from a journalist who magically entered a hidden black market room the most corrupt police chief has hidden for years, coincidentally on the same night as the president was killed.. We also keep getting new evidence as the case develops, and deus ex machina evidence pops up like the gunshot at the end of the recording which we didn't bother listening to in its full extent and zero hints about Simon apart from "he's a friend of Knightley". The biggest plothole is how he knows where Dogen's jail cell is to be able to play chess with him, this is highly confidential information for the public, and Simon has no history in police work to explain this. Dual Destinies had the jewel around Athena's neck, and she was alluded to be very close to the space station since the beginning of the final trial. The way Fullbright was exposed was also beautiful. We said goodbye to Gumshoe in the mainline games after the trilogy, then Ema showed up for Apollo Justice, then it was obviously time for a new mainline detective for the new 3dHD universe. Fullbright instantly felt like a real mainstay, and the way he subtly sabotaged every case, and kept control over Blackquill was beautiful and a believable plottwist. [link] [comments]
Case Discussion Thread - Case 6-DLC - Turnabout Time Traveler Posted: 03 Jul 2021 04:43 PM PDT Here we are at the end of the line for the main series to date, unless I do Asinine Attorney threads again. What's left? There are four trials in the Layton crossover, so we can talk about those, but I won't be posting threads for the TGAA cases, at least not for the time being. Post your first-time reactions and any opinions, complaints, and general thoughts here. What's your take on the sixth game's sixth episode? [link] [comments]

How would you feel if you need to defend the Judge in AA7? Posted: 03 Jul 2021 11:57 AM PDT If there is a case where the Judge is the defendant, then we'd finally learn his name [link] [comments]
Shower thought (original trilogy spoilers) Posted: 03 Jul 2021 03:51 PM PDT So in Rise From the Ashes, which was made after the original trilogy, there's a little conversation between Phoenix and Ema about how attorneys' badges each have their own unique serial numbers, so you could never just give your badge to someone else Obviously, this is sort of foreshadowing, I suppose, of when Phoenix does give Edgeworth his badge for a day in 3-5. But I can't help wondering - why make a point of saying that such a thing couldn't happen? Especially when no such problem related to the badge number exists or is even mentioned later It's not like they didn't adjust other dialogue to account for 1-5 being added. JFA changes some dialogue about Edgeworth leaving immediately after 1-4 to leaving a few months after it. But nothing was added or changed to account for this Just seems a very strange detail to add [link] [comments] |
