    Playing Ace Attorney on TV

    Posted: 23 Jun 2021 02:10 AM PDT

After a long streak at home and tired of pc/phone, I have just discover a way to play the Trilogy ( DS version ) with Android TV.( Hopefully no one have done before 😉)

    Requirements:

    - Android TV ( idk if it works for TV Box and others or not )

    - USB for transferring files

    - Wireless mouse for setting up

First, download the file I put below, extract and copy to an USB. Next, open Play Store in your TV, install an app for managing file. Connect the USB to your TV, open the app above, move extracted files to TV storage. Install the included Drastic app. DONE! Now you can play the game normally with a wireless mouse or a controller.

    Buttons used in game: https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Phoenix_Wright:_Ace_Attorney/Controls

Or, if you want to use your remote for playing: https://imgur.com/a/sfilnNy

Finally, the file for emulator + ROMs: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mnUrDh5roT99xXdQri9CMczWz1MuTyKg/view?usp=sharing

    File included:

    - Drastic r2.5.2.2a

    - 3 games of the Trilogy ( seperated )

    - Apollo Justice

    - Miles Edgeworth Investigations 1+2 ( 2 is the fan traslated version )

The beauty of Apollo Justice's ending

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 12:17 PM PDT

I was thinking a bit about the theme of Apollo Justice. I came to the conclusion that it's about letting go of your attachments for the greater good. Examples include Apollo letting go of his mentor to let justice be served, as well as letting go of his preconceived notions regarding Phoenix so he can succeed on his own. So what makes the ending so interesting to me is that Apollo, Klavier, etc are not the only ones. There is one more key person who has to let go of something. It's the player, who has enjoyed fighting through this system throughout the course of 4 games who must let go of it so that the characters can have a much fairer legal system. It all comes full circle.

Side note: This is one reason I refuse to believe DD and SOJ are canon.

    TGAA case numbering proposition

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 02:00 PM PDT

So, as anyone who has spent a reasonable amount of time in the major Ace Attorney communities will know, common fandom shorthand tends to reduce case names to a simple numbering system. Case 1-3, for instance, is the third case of the first game, Turnabout Samurai. 4-2 is the second case of the fourth game, Turnabout Corner.

This gets a little more complicated with spinoffs. The most convenient way I know of to refer to cases in the Investigations subseries is to add an I to the start of the numbering, so Investigations 1's cases are I1-1, I1-2, and etc. Investigations 2 has I2-1, I2-2, and so on. I often see the Layton crossover use VS-1, VS-2, and etc.

Now that we're close to the release of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, I think it's best if we all try and come to an agreement on how best to utilize this same shorthand in referring to the ten cases in TGAAC. In the collection itself, save files are labeled with "GAA1" and "GAA2" to refer to which game the save is logged in, so I think there's an easy way to shorten this.

My personal recommendation going forward is to use the letter G like the I in Investigations, therefore calling the cases G1-1, G1-2, G2-1, and etc.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles - Gameplay Trailer

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 08:01 AM PDT

If you could create an Ace Attorney country and culture. What would you name it and what would be like?

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 06:21 PM PDT

Sharing mine later. But share your idea

Regne-franc It's a country in Middle Eastern Europe, it is widely recognised for being one of the most expensive and wealthiest places in the world. The official language is French, although Regneinesse (a dialect), Italian and English are spoken. Economic development was spurred in the late 20th century with the opening connections to Paris. Since its mild climate, scenery as a tourist destination and recreation centre for the rich. Regarding its legal system, all cases involving a legal figure are strictly managed by a highly qualified prosecutor and investigations are restricted only to the designed detective and defense attorney. State chooses candidates for a university scholarship; based on their wealth, grades and contribution to society. (They will prioritize legal workers, health staff, district workers, etc)

    Welcome to my country.

Kay Faraday their design, how much they've changed, and how they would interact with the main cast imo (slight spoilers for AAI, AAI2, AA6.)

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 10:06 PM PDT

i might do one for Sebastian but it might be when i think about his character, or when i re-re-re-re-design him in the future...

    Design

Kay in my headcanon is a detective, they pretty much look like Badd with sunglasses. but Kay has one glove on their left hand, on their right they have a ring and watch. (if i could post my Kay design i would, but sadly... i can't.) also business shoes!

Kay has at least something from each Yatagarasu member. the sunglasses by Calisto, the ring and little thief from her father, and the coat and watch from Badd. now, remember when Kay wanted Yew's sunglasses? they asked Lang if they could have it, well, they now own it. Kay has a little fanny pack thing, and inside it Kay has their promise notebook inside and that's also where they keep little thief.....

Their fears, Their habits, and what's happened during/after SOJ...

now, Kay pretty much acts like their younger self, but, they act serious when needed, but... Kay has this fear, a fear of the defense forging, and getting the wrong culprit. Kay is so afraid and when they get the wrong culprit they would apologize to the person they accused, cause Kay knows what it's like being accused of something you didn't do. Kay also copies people unknowingly, their voice, their habits, etc. etc. (this is important u can ask me dis) Kay, also, likes fidgeting with things, their Yatagarasu badge, glove... anything to relax themselves...

so during SOJ, Kay was going after case, after case, finding corrupted prosecutors with Edgeworth and Kay didn't think much of Nahyuta. until they accused Trucy. Kay wanted to yell at him, but they didn't know that Trucy was like a damn sister to them, how was he supposed to know?

when Kay heard that Ema was the detective, they were panicking. but Justice was there!( literally!!) and Kay was alright, after SOJ, Kay worked so much they are... burnt out.

Kay is... tired. Kay wants to rest, but the truth is more important...right? Kay wants to do their job but they just can't. so during my made up AA7, Athena can hear Kay's tiredness during investigations and their nervousness in court.

Their relationships with some of the main cast.

Trucy: they have a sibling relationship and after 6-2 Kay's been afraid of Trucy's safety, they can't see her much because they've been so busy with cases. but they understand that Trucy can take care of herself.

Ema: they've known each other for so long, Kay can read through Ema's lies and helps her with her snackoo habit...

Klavier: they've, also, known each other for so long, Kay know when Klav's not okay...

    Phoenix: dad figure 1

Lang: dad figure 2 (u can ask me about this)

    Edgeworth: dad figure 3

well my brain stops here so if u want to know more about my interpretation of Kay u can ask me.
