Issues with spoilers in this sub

    Posted: 19 May 2021 11:41 PM PDT

I personally have played every single AA game from start to end, including dlc, except for GAA2 (due to not being fully fanslated). Due to not many having played it, this sub is pretty low on GAA2 content and spoilers. I click on pretty much every spoiler, because it's safe to do so. But every once in a while, I'll see a spoiler, click it, and read it without realizing its GAA2. There was no way to differentiate it from a non-GAA2 spoiler without reading it.

So why am I making this post? I'm suggesting that this sub should have a standardized spoiler format. Even something as simple as putting the name of the game in parenthesis right before the spoiler, for example (JfA) Engarde is evil. Doing this will help identify what spoilers you can or cant look at.

This technically isn't an "original" cut-in, since Apollo already has one. BUT, I didn't quite like how his AJ one looked (mostly due to the odd filter it has), so I did my best to remake it but with colors! Hope you enjoy it!

    Favorite cast from AA?

    Posted: 19 May 2021 11:06 PM PDT

My personal favorite is AJ cast. What can say...I love these dorks too much. I could easily sympathize with them and I had the most fun with them among the other casts! (And it's a pity they didn't developed in that game Klavier well ;-; He deserves more love and decent backstory from Capcom)

    Is my sister’s game bugged?

    Posted: 19 May 2021 08:44 PM PDT

    We've done everything.

We've presented the victim's profile to Gumshoe and done all the dialogue.

We've talked to Adrian in the warehouse.

We've talked to Maya about Kurain.

We've even restarted the chapter and played through the entire case back to this point.

And Ron Delite STILL won't appear in the detention center?!?!

Update: It turns out we just needed to talk to Larry about the buzzer.

Why does third case hate exist like there not that that bad (spoilers)

    Posted: 19 May 2021 04:13 PM PDT

So I've played up to the third case of AAI2 along with both DGS games and VS so idk about DDs or SOJs third cases but they all have been fun and enjoyable each third cases purpose is to have a fun cast, setting and murder plan which they all do so here's my opinion

Samurai case- good, it's just good fun setting introducing fun characters and it got me hooked onto the series and gave Edgeworth development. Was just plain good

big top- this case was actually better than I expected as I went in knowing it was bad but I had fun with it. The murder plan may not make sense but it was still fun to figure out with a nice change of setting. It's a fine case and not horrendous

recipe- this case is actually Very good, like super good. Has a very great cast, very great setting and has one of my favourite murder plans in the series. I love this case and I know it might be silly but that's the point of third cases, super case

Seranade- unpopular opinion but this case rocks, if you go along with it for me I had a blast. I enjoyed the setting and character but I like how this case just kinda played out. It had a fun idea for a murder and I liked how it followed the lyrics and how mysterious Machi was. Also gave klavier a better chance to shine. I had a blast with this case, shame so many others didn't

Kidnapped- this case is very good but short and not the best cast. This case has a very cool idea which works well in a theme park setting, oldbag and Lang were awesome and Kay was cool. This case strives in its murder plan and was fun to figure out. It was a good mystery and fun

Inherited- outstanding in every way you probably have heard why by countless others but yeh all of this cases characters and twists really work and having it at a baking show- so fun and we get to play as Edgeworth's dad, what's not to love. Brilliant case

Golden- best case of VS. loved the butler's character and that twist at the end caught me off guard. The way it was a suicide really makes this case great and pays off at the end. Was shocking and fine

runaway room- holy cow this is now my favourite case in the franchise, everything about it is just so outstanding I can't describe it. I can't wait for people to play this, best twist in ace attorney.

departed soul- very good, loved the defendant and the killer, had a fun first trial with a super interesting concept for a murder and how it connected to the wax figure. Very good case I won't say much more

But I love third cases and always will :)

Why can't Phoenix see Psych-locks in court?

    Posted: 19 May 2021 11:32 AM PDT

Throughout the game whenever someone is lying if you have not just on you, but proven in the treis bien case on the final game in the original trilogy, if the magatama is somewhere close, even in a another room (the kitchen) you can still see Psych-locks, so why in court when the witness and defendants lie can't we see Psych-locks? I know the real reason is it would make the game to easy, but is there like a canon explenation?

    The meaning of DL-6.

    Posted: 19 May 2021 05:00 PM PDT

In the original version of the first game, of all its NPCs, 6 of them are lawyers, but you can only interact with 5 of them, because the 6th one Gregory Edgeworth is dead. The case file concerning his death is titled DL-6.

    I think DL-6 means dead lawyer 6.

If Capcom wanted to show more character interactions and development outside of the courtroom, what would be the best way to introduce less trial-based stories?

    Posted: 19 May 2021 02:09 PM PDT

Some examples of how they could tackle these might be:

Making the sections before and after each case longer so characters have more time to casually interact.

Including special episodes that have no cases in them with more simplistic UI's and options.

Having bonus animations that act like an anime mini-series, either available in the game after completing the game/an episode, or uploaded to the official Capcom/Ace Attorney social medias/websites.

    Etc.

How well does the 2nd season of anime adapt the 3rd game?

    Posted: 19 May 2021 06:03 PM PDT

So i've read first two games. Liked the story behind them and all the Umineko like mind games but gameplay i found to be really tiring and frustrating. I mean investigating might get really annoying if you miss one single clue and then you gotta revisit every single location and present everything to everybody just so you can progress with the story. I barelly started the third game and when it was required of me to present an evidence about the time in the prologue (there were two time related evidences, by logic it should be possible to proof your right with both but you were penalized for using the one game didn't want you to use) i noped the fucked out and really don't feel like finishing the trilogy. So now the question is whether 2nd season of anime does the 3rd game a favor and isn't rushed af? Thanks for all the replies in advance.
