    Many people say they don't like him because he's stupid. But I think he's actually doing this for Naruhodou's sake. If you think about it, every time Naruhodou corrects him, Holmes doesn't seem shocked at all. In fact, he just details what Narudohou just said. So I think he makes wrong deductions on purpose to make Naruhodou think for himself. Also, best character of the entire series. Fight me.

    Does anyone else do little voices in their head when they read the dialogue or am I weird

    I just realized last night that I do this automatically. I just finished Rise From the Ashes. For some reason, Damon Gant sounds like Nathan Fillion in my head when I read his dialogue.

    An idea for a twist on apollo's perceive ability

    Imagine this: apollo is talking to someone, and his bracelet gets a reaction. But the person is somehow aware of his ability, and instead of trying to stop him, they start twitching more, making it far more difficult for apollo to find the nervous tick. What do you guys think of this idea?

    a question about characterization

    I'm writing the script to a fangame. I have a specific headcanon that I want to apply to one of the canon characters, but I'm not sure if it would be OOC.

    Explanation: (Mild 4-3 spoilers)

    The character is Valant. The headcanon is that he's good at imitating people, which I think is in character since he was able to act as Lamiroir without anybody noticing until the way the trick was performed was important in court of law. It's the way I want to implement it that I'm worried about, rather than if it makes sense or not.

    I've been planning to basically make sprites for him with expressions or poses similar to characters he's interacted with or is canonically close too (ex. the Trucy head-knock thing) while green-texting things it sounds like those characters would say. I feel like this would be fun but it would also add something entirely new to his speech mannerisms.

    SO. Does this sound too OOC? And if it is, would it seriously affect your enjoyment of the fangame, were you to play it?

    He hasn't appeared since Ace Attorney Investigations 2. I wonder what happened to him.

    Also, I'm not sure why the dark age of the law started with Phoenix's disbarment, when there was a literal hitman waltzing around scot-free far before Kristoph got jelly of Nick
