    List of potential conflicts of interest throughout the series

    • Manfred von Karma prosecuting the case against Edgeworth, his former protege and informally adopted son.

    • Edgeworth prosecuting the case against Maya, the daughter of the spirit medium used in his father's murder trial.

    • Edgeworth prosecuting the case against Lana, who was his mentor and direct supervisor. There's even a second conflict of interest when the events of SL-9 are called into question as he was the prosecutor for that case.

    • Godot in 3-5 for obvious reasons. Also Edgeworth on day 1 for taking a client accused of murdering the spirit medium he held a slight grudge towards as mentioned earlier. Also Franziska on day 1 prosecuting a case where Edgeworth was the defense.

    • Actually, Franziska outright saying "I just want to defeat Phoenix Wright in court" multiple times can probably be considered a conflict of interest too.

    • Klavier for like all of 4-4 also for obvious reasons

    You know,by Original Trilogy standards,this case can easily be filed as a final case. It's really complicated,but mind you — it's not complicated in a bullshit way,like 5-2 or AA:I–5. William Pretency is goddamn awesome for a killer,Viridian is also a nice connection to the first game,Decargo Meterman is here from the first game... I've noticed,how well this game answers and expands on some vague moments from the first game. Anyway,I'm very excited for DGS2-3.

    I'm rewatching the anime today and have noticed skipping between English/Japanese names, which lead me to googling the Japanese names and finding out they are a play on words/puns. Is there a complete list of Ace Attorney characters names/name meanings? I tried searching on my own but couldn't find any actual sources.
