Anyone else dislike Edgeworth in DD and SOJ?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2021 10:38 PM PST

I really don't like his 3d model and expressions... He doesn't show any emotions or anything and I just really miss how he used to be like in the older games. And his English voice actor really sucks imo and I just feel really disappointed. The only thing I'm happy about him now is how he's really reliable and trustworthy.

How to get away with murder in the Ace Attorney universe

    Posted: 25 Jan 2021 07:03 AM PST

    Step 1: Murder someone

Step 2: Find someone with even the slightest possible relationship with your victim

Step 3: Fabricate some shitty fake evidence that even a third grader could tell is fake

Step 4: Don't show up to court as a witness

Due to the absolute and total idiocy of the detectives and judges, they are guaranteed to arrest and execute the very first suspect they find, and so long as you aren't anywhere near the proceedings for a defence attorney to point a finger at you you cannot be caught.

Most emotional moment in series for you?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2021 10:14 PM PST

I never actually teared up at an Ace Attorney case or moment despite there being a lot of heartbreaking/tragic stuff. However, a couple days ago I teared up a bit at the end of The Inherited turnabout. When shields talks to Gregory about solving the case and saving Jeff Master along with the pictures of him and both the Edgeworths just made me emotional What about yours?

    Mia and Phoenix comparison

    Posted: 25 Jan 2021 10:01 PM PST

Phoenix obviously learnt everything about being an Ace Attorney from his mentor. What I like best about this student-mentor relationship is how Phoenix picked up some behaviours/gestures from Mia, like desk slamming and the finger pointing stance. It always amuses me how we humans tend to copy the ppl we admire subconsciously. What else have you guys seen Phoenix doing which resembles Mia, and how do they differ? How has the influence of Mia shaped Phoenix, in his profession and general personality?

    apollo justice

    Posted: 25 Jan 2021 01:09 PM PST

I just finished apollo justice and by the end of it I personally really loved it, at the end everything just feels like it comes full circle and I love how it makes all the cases related and alot of the characters are intertwined by an incident that should not have been no ones business but the Gramaryes. I find this incident extremely realistic. Getting involved with serious crime, unintentionally or intentionally, has a good potential to seriously ruin your life. At the start of the game I see phoenix wright as some stereotypical cool guy with a ¨dark spoooooky secret¨, and I seriously hated it because at the start of the game I was under the assumption that phoenix wrights situation was his own doing, that he set this bad life up for himself, and I couldn't possibly see how he could ever get himself in that situation because it simply wasnt like him. However, the game and the new phoenix wright began to grow on me and although I liked the new phoenix wright I still thought his character was messed up. But then the game took a massive turning point when you play as him and gather the evidence for the seven years. You realize wright was just wrapped up in this situation against his will and then the investigation sequence for the past seven years starts. This mystery before you slowly unravels from the past and present and so many twists and turns and realizations come before you. The twists and turns and all the jigsaw pieces fit into your mind. When I was playing the game I realized the old phoenix wright was still there, just putting on a display for his daughter to keep her happy, but more than that, the thing that showed me phoenix wright as a person never changed, was the fact that he worked so hard for seven years almost by himself to get not only him, but also the people around him out of the catastrophe. Anyways those are some of my rambles and thoughts
