    Character Alignment Chart (Trilogy)

What personal pronouns do the characters use in Japanese?

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 02:10 PM PST

So, I do know about what pronouns a bunch of the characters use. Phoenix using "boku", along with Klavier and Bansai/Blaise, Apollo using "ore", Trucy referring to herself in third person, Edgeworth and Franziska using "watashi" and Manfred using "wagahai", but does someone have a list of what everyone (or every more importat character) uses? There's a lot of characters I'd be super curious about, like Kristoph Gavin or Godot or Portsman, or anyone really because it's a subject I find kinda interesting.

Question about potential plotholes in 3-5

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 03:32 PM PST

Loved the case but there were two things that just didn't make sense to me and I'm not sure if it's a plothole or if I misinterpreted things.

    • When Phoenix was in the hospital, he studied the transcript of Mia's first trial (3-4). So how the hell did he not know that Edgeworth was the prosecutor for that case? Can't remember exactly the circumstances but I think Edgeworth mentioned that Iris looked familiar and he might have seen her in court before, but Phoenix seems to indicate he doesn't have a clue. You would think he couldn't forget such an important detail about that case, but nah, let Edgey go back to the office and waste hours of his time sifting through court records for the lols.

    • Second, why did they have to go through this silly "oh we need to find a judge and prosecutor that don't know who I am" bs? Edgeworth still has a reputation despite being out of the country for a year, and he was still the district attorney there for like five years so I find it really hard to believe he only had one trial with the blonde judge in his entire career and that anyone working at the district attorney office didn't know who he was. They're able to get away with so much wild shit in these courts it was kinda silly they had to create a plothole here just to justify something that was rather mild in comparison to some of the more serious conflicts of interest we've seen (for example, allowing Manfred to prosecute in Miles' trial).

I get suspending disbelief for some of the more outlandish things but these two points didn't make any sense at all.
