| Could there ever be an Ema Skye spin-off? Posted: 07 Dec 2020 07:00 PM PST I remember that the Miles Edgeworth Investigation series started off as going to be for an Ema Skye spin-off game. I wonder if that would still be possible. Is there still a point in the AA: Investigations timeline before Maya Fey's journey to Khura'in where they could have a game take place? Maybe it could be an Ace Attorney girls game, with Ema as the main character, Kay as her sidekick, and we bump into Maya Fey along the way? That would combine forensic science, stealing the truth+Little Thief, and physical mediumship. Would it be possible in the AA timeline for such a game to be able to occur? Could it realisticallyhappen? Gumshoe would be able to make a long-awaited return since he's been missing since Phoenix's disbarment! Maybe they just have modern 3D models of them based on their appearance before the 7-year gap. [link] [comments] | ||

| My Brief Thoughts Over Chapter 3, 4, 5, 6 of Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Posted: 07 Dec 2020 01:10 PM PST Chapter 3- The Great Witch=============== I would do pros and cons here but I don't have much to say for this chapter. It was ok. The only thing worth noting is that I liked Luke and Maya together. They are so cute. Chapter 4- The Golden Court========================== Pros: It had an interesting concept. The ending had me hooked. I liked Greyerl and felt bad for her (only a little bit as I'll note later) The true culprit of Layton's (sort of death) not being revealed is interesting. Luke...just Luke. You can't hate him. Cons: Some of the characters were annoying. (Why was Birdly on the stand when he wasn't testifying?) That extremely long plot dump was dumb. At least Kira made her backstory relatively short. Greyerl had to go on a full essay on her sob story and it didn't transition well into phoenix wright's "cornering her". Here's what happened in a nutshell: (Phoenix- How did you know about the letter being addressed to the Storyteller?) (Greyerl- It all started when I was born....) The twist felt forced like it was only there to make you feel bad for her. To Conclude: This case could have been better. Chapter 5: A Taste Of Despair===================== Pros: Angst Nick. I love the emotion his model gives off. His model may arguably be better in this game than in the official games. I liked Rouge Cons: Angst Nick. Why he mad at Barham for what happened? Not going to lie, Layton and Maya being dead were interesting so them coming back to life as well as the fake deaths of the witches does muddy the angst phoenix thing. I'm not a personal fan of the "blaming yourself for the action of others". Also, Rouge's pep talk to Nick was nice and all but what she says are things that Nick should have already learned by that point. This game takes place sometime within Trials and Tribulations. Chapter 6: Secrets of The Underground Ruins Like Chapter 3, not much for this chapter. It's just more investigation and the witch of Bezella. As for Espella at the end, I have an idea of what going to happen. Either 1) She had a part in the town catching on fire but truly innocent. 2) She is completely innocent and the witches are tricking her. Misc: I wonder why this game called "Profesor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney"? They are all working together the entire time. It should be called "Profesor Layton & Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney"...unless Professor Layton/Phoenix Wrights turns to the dark side we must defeat them! Top 7 Prediction For Who is the Bezella Witch They say that Witches are never male but it would be a twist if the villain witch was a male. 7- Darklaw (she is sus) 6- Epsella (oof) 5- Barnham. (Prosecutors = Bad) (Though I hope not because I kind of like Barnham) 4- The Judge. (He has a purple coat. Evil Purple Coat. Gasp) 3- The Storyteller. (How shocking) 2- Ameer (Dun Dun Dunnnnn) 1- The cat. (Who said the witch had to be human?) [link] [comments] | ||
