Does anyone else use a guide when they get stuck and feel stupid when they get the answer because it seems so obvious?

What is going on in Fanfiction.net's Ace Attorney section?

It's all John Phoenix this and John Phoenix that. Some OC has even been added as a character tag and that never happens.

i just finished the trilogy for the first time and i am emotionally damaged fuck this game

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 01:14 AM PDT

i've known about phoenix wright for a very long time, but i never really gave it a shot because i didn't know much about it. i thought it might be dull and 'click based' with little gameplay value but, being bored in quarantine and seeing the hd port was available on the switch for only $30, i figured i would give it a try. i was affectively proven wrong

i want to sue for unnecessary emotional turmoil. i still can't get over godot. just in general. i saw him and immediately didn't trust him so it was a twist that truly caught me by surprise. a lawyer never cries until it's over. i burst into tears at the photo of maya and mia fixing the sacred urn just like pearls did. the characters were so interesting and unique and alive. this truly was a journey.

i fully intend on playing the rest of the franchise. those who have insight, i've heard some conflicting opinions. is it a worthwhile investment to play on the mobile ports? i do have a 3ds, so i can play on there if its truly better, but its in very poor shape (the display is completely purple and the analog stick drifts internally. don't ask). is there one way to play that's objectively better than the others? i don't know anything about these apollo, trucy, and others i've stumbled across in searching for things except for little bits of spoilers i've picked up on, but i'm really excited to hear their stories.

another thing, is the anime worth it? i know it's practically the game to a t and follows the same cases and everything, but after playing through the trilogy, is it something i could take some enjoyment out of?

i know i'm late to the party, but i'm really glad i played these games. i had been missing out for a very long time

Small rant about the first trial day in JFA’s fourth case.

SPOILER: I'm close to finishing the first trial day and I'm absolutely frustrated. How the fuck was I supposed to know that there was a fuckin spare Nickel Samurai costume in the Jammin Ninja's fuckin guitar case?

What Investigations Cases do you want on trial? *Spoilers*

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 12:07 AM PDT

Mine would be Turnabout Ablaze and The Imprisoned Turnabout. These cases can be solved by a Defense Attorney like Phoenix Wright in court if they got the guts.

But what Investigations-style cases can go to trial and why?
