Thinking on Dropping Apollo Justice

So I just played the 3DS trilogy and am currently playing Apollo Justice. Unlike ALL cases in the trilogy, I just can't like the cases and the characters in general. Is it just me, or do you Aldo feel that? Also, if I don't play Apollo Justice, I don't get to understand the next games? Thanks

Weird conversation I had yesterday

I work at an escape room and had just finished up with one of my teams and was entering their data into the computer. I was also telling my manager about an Ace Attorney fangame I'm planning, telling her it's a murder mystery with each case set on a holiday (eg Christmas, Easter, etc).

I'm bent over the computer and ask for my team's name. She says "Phoenix."

I say "...What?"

Look at the board with all the team names. Yep. Right there in capitals under my team. PHOENIX.
