    Phoenix Wright could very well be coming to Smash soon. Recently there has been an onslaught of deconfirmations from leakers who have credibility to their name, and Phoenix has stood tall through all of them. Obviously you generally can't trust leakers, but the very prospect of Phoenix not being mentioned gives me hope.

    Additionally, Resident Evil has been likely ruled out due to the recent addition of spirits from the franchise (sorry RE fans). This means that, if we assume we'll get another character from Capcom, the choices are becoming limited, and I think Phoenix has one of the best chances of them all.

    Don't lose hope! Our boy still has a shot of getting in!

    In this scene from Turnabout Academy in Dual Destinies on 3DS, the camera is angled behind Apollo. During his talking animation, you can see some crazy spikes as his mouth moves:

    This is because the 3D Ace Attorney games can do what's called "animating to the camera" - When an animation will only be seen from one angle, the animators can cheat, pushing and pulling body parts to impossible locations to get the look they need on camera. In this case, the animator needed to push some of Apollo's mouth vertices or bones toward the camera, presumably to prevent geometry clipping or issues with the outline effect. However, when the writers/ localizers were scripting this moment they overlooked that this animation would show artifacts from this rare behind-the-back camera angle.

    This technique of cheating the pose to get the right look on camera is most often used in first-person games. This is evident if you hack first-person games to put the camera in third-person while the first-person animations play.

    They keep saying stuff like "the butterfly drinks the nectar from the flower." Or " the butterfly spreads the pollen of the flowers." and I'm so frustrated, because they do it like fifteen times, and I'm just pissed.
