    Update looks like every Ace Attorney game is on sale these are the prices (Without tax). Ace Attorney trilogy 11.99 (3ds) 19.99 (Everywhere else), Apollo justice 9.99, Dual Destinies 8.99, Spirit of justice 11.99. From what I see on the Google play store anyways they arent on sale over there.

    SPOILERS FOR 4-1, 4-2, and 4-3

    I'm playing Apollo justice for the first time because I decided to binge the whole series idk why. I beat the trilogy a few weeks ago and am now just finished with turnabout serenade. I'll say my thoughts on each one.

    Turnabout Trump Holy shit it was great. Easily the best first case in the series, the only one that can actually stand against "real" cases. The killer was amazing, it was a huge twist. The way you caught him was pretty cool too. My only gripe is I feel like Phoenix is very out of character in this case. In the other two that I've played I can totally see he's still the same Phoenix from the trilogy, albeit older and more jaded, but in this first case at some points it's pretty hard.

    Turnabout Corner It was cool, I liked it, it was nothing super special though. The killer was ok but she practically didn't show up at all in the investigations so when she randomly went up to testify it was a little weird. Another thing about her is how quickly she dropped her "sweet" façade and turned on Wocky. She was so scared that the family would get wind of the chart that she killed Meraktis yet was so forthcoming with information and her distaste toward Wocky. If she thought the Kitakis would kill her for finding the chart what made her think they wouldn't after the trial is over if she was found not guilty?

    Turnabout Serenade I really enjoyed this one. One criticism I heard of this case was the amount of times you watched the video but I didn't feel that that was much of an issue. My main takeaway from this case is that I'm shit with music lol. One thing did bother time though; the gun being so big. If this wasn't a detail the case would've made much more sense. It's not feasible for Machi to have fired it if it ended up dislocating the shoulder of Daryan. I know there was the whole missed cue thing, but that raises another issue. If Daryan's missed cue was because of his shoulder, when did he press the second switch that lit up the firecrackers? It would've been better if the gun was a regular one imo, as like I said the missed cue could be explained away as daryan hitting the switch a second time as the gun being large didn't amount to anything substantial.

    All in all I'm enjoying this game, it's fun playing cases that are brand new to me. I wouldn't say I like it better than the trilogy though

    An interesting (and frustrating) Problem

    So, I recently beat the Original Ace Attorney trilogy, and I loved it. I wanted to play Apollo Justice, so I downloaded the ROM and began playing it via Twilight Menu. But, I hit a wall when I reached the fingerprinting section. No matter how hard I blew, the powder wouldn't change, at all!!! I had this same problem with Rise from the Ashes, but, since that episode doesn't *directly* affect the Ace Attorney timeline until Apollo Justice, I didn't really mind. The microphone is fine. I tested it many times, using Nintendo 3ds sound, and System Settings. It is NOT because of Twilight Menu. The ROM is loaded using onboard DS hardware. The microphone even works when I shout "Objection!" or "Take That!" during the trials.

    Is this a real issue, or am I just dumb? I didn't know, but this seemed to be the best place to ask Ace Attorney - related queries. Thank you all in advance for helping me, and I am looking forward to (hopefully) completing this awesome series.
