    Ryuunosuke and Susato for Smash Bros

    There is one last slot for Smash Bros so clearly it has to be an Ace Attorney rep. Phoenix is the obvious choice but i think Ryuu has the better "move list". Also we need more TGAA. And also I can't stop thinking about it.

    Gimmicks

    • Susato:
      • An intangible Susato follows closely behind Ryuu in the background. She will assist with some moves. When Ryuu goes flying, Susato will block the attack with her book with the force of the attack causing her to go flying with Ryuu.
    • Pursuit Gauge:
      • Ryuu's attacks will sometimes cause the targets to drop "evidence" which take the form of generally ineffectual items. While the Pursuit Gauge is not full, Ryuu will "eat" evidence that he picks up to fill the gauge.
      • When the gauge is full, Ryuu's next smash attack will activate the gauge causing that smash and smash moves for a few seconds after to be an enhanced version.
    • Ryuu's moves fall broadly into 3 types.
      • -Investigation (I) moves will "ink" the target in Sholmes' and Iris's forensic goop. Marked targets will drop evidence at an increased rate and take slightly more damage.
      • - Deduction (D) moves have a high rate of producing evidence.
      • -Interjection (R) moves deal increased knockback to marked targets.

    Special Moves

    • Neutral Special (I) / Smoke Grenade: Susato will fire Iris's smoke grenade launcher at a gentle arc, marking targets caught up in the smoke. Can be charged to shoot farther and faster.
    • Up Special (R) / Susato Smash: Susato grabs and throws Ryuu, knocking back everyone in his path. Can be charged.
    • Side Special (I) / Toby: Susato drops Toby, who will enthusiastically run forward. If dropped in the air or when he reaches a ledge, he will leap down at an angle. He will damage, mark, and trip anyone he runs into. Midair, he will toadstool instead of tripping.
    • Down Special: Ryuu takes a thinking pose while Susato consults her book. This stance will slowly charge the Pursuit Gauge and vacuum up evidence. Will slow Ryuu's fall if used in midair.

    Ground Moves

    • Jab (D) / Joint Reasoning: Ryuu snaps his fingers in front of him. On hit, Susato will join in, starting a jab combo as they take turns making deductions.
    • Side Tilt (D): Ryuu points his finger causing a spotlight to appear in front of him, with the light damaging his target.
    • Down Tilt (D): Ryuu takes a thinking pose while crouching, focusing on on a horizontal beam of light that appears close to the ground.
    • Up Tilt (D): Ryuu makes a pose while a spotlight beams down at him from above.
    • Dash Attack (R): Ryuu trips and slides.
    • Grab / "Excuse me!": Produces a small text bubble that causes targets to clarify their statement.
      • Pummel (D): Ryuu badgers the witness.
      • Throw (R): Susato ends the interrogation by throwing the target in the chosen direction.

    Smash Moves

    • Side Smash (R) / "Objection!": Charges and points his finger, his yell producing a large text bubble in front of him. Pursuit version has increased size and power.
    • Up Smash (R) / "Yes!": Ryuu takes his nervous stance before raising his hand, causing a text bubble to appear above him. Pursuit version can be performed quicker.
    • Down Smash (R) / "Hold it!": Ryuu readies a double arm desk slam which will hit the text bubble below him. Produces a shockwave on both sides that will briefly stun the target before they go flying. Pursuit version greatly increases the stun time.

    Air Moves

    • Neutral Air (D): Ryuu slaps his cheeks, causing a small shockwave around him.
    • Forward Air (R): Performs a single arm desk slam, spikes on sweet spot.
    • Back Air (R): Spins and points his finger, with a sweet spot at the tip.
    • Up Air: (I): Ryuu fires the skin print spray upwards.
    • Down Air (I): Ryuu fires the skin print spray downwards.

    Final Smash

    • Dance of Deduction: Ryuu produces a large spot light in front of him. Sholmes and Iris joins in for a four man logic and reasoning spectacular. Surviving victims are heavily marked.

    Stage

    • Old Bailey. Hazards includes Barok Van Zieks hollowed chalices and bottles, and juror flames. Characters can make cameos in the background.

    If anyone has any other ideas, I would love to hear them.

    The question itself might not be super clear but hopefully my examples will help. Note that I have nothing for Gavin, Blackquill and Nahyuta because it's been a while since I've played those games but I might edit it later if I remember something.

    • Edgeworth: Either with the updated autopsy report or when we nearly had Redd White cornered and Edgeworth objected.
    • Franziska: When she showed the picture of Maya channeling Mia despite knowing it wouldn't be accepted as evidence since it would still impact their view of the case.
    • Godot: After the first trial when he told us that Ron was now suspected of murder.
    • Van Zieks: When he brought the omnibus to court as evidence.

    • Raiten Menimemo
    • Olive Green
    • William Shamspeare

    • Courtney Sithe

    For me, I think I would go:

    Drebber > Graydon > Green > McGilded > Stronghart > Pavlova > Jigoku > Shamspeare > Brett > Menimemo > Sithe > Garrideb

    I actually think all of these villains are at least great, with the exception of Joan. My opinions are in constant flux though so I likely will have a different ranking very soon lol.

    EDIT: We are ranking in terms of the quality of the villain. How well do you believe they were they written? But if you want, you can also include a ranking of the villains on your own terms.

    I had a dream that the next Ace Attorney game was a crossover with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

    It featured Nick and Maya transported to Hyrule solving crimes there.

    Also Hyrule had more farmland and houses, so there were a lot of rural locales to explore and find clues in. It was really pretty visually, and a lot of Nick and Maya's dialogue was discussing how they were going to get home.
