A cut-in for feeble Alba! Usually, cut-ins don't display the person's nose, but his nose being absent felt... wrong. In any case, I hope you enjoy it!

Based in EU, was excited to order a physical version on switch for TGAA...any workaround?

    Posted: 12 May 2021 09:04 PM PDT

When they released the phoenix wright trilogy, I was one of those people who ordered a physical copy from Amazon Japan just cuz I wanted one so bad. Knew it would work and have English on it in advance.

Noticed there was a physical option for this new trilogy on the website and was pumped.. so imagine my disappointment when they said the switch physical was NA only and I'm based in EU.

Anyone any idea if I just ordered off Amazon.com or wherever and had it delivered to EU if itbwlul work like before? I so want that physical, I'm sure there's plenty of others like me in the same boat outside of NA

My thanks to the Ace Attorney community

    Posted: 12 May 2021 09:28 AM PDT

I wanna preface this by saying that a YouTuber I watch said a month or two ago that Reddit is generally speaking a compilation of the biggest morons and trolls on the internet. And at that point in time I actually did believe him. And I still for the most part do.

That being said, I had "retired" from reddit in terms of commenting on anything or making posts. This is because I simply got tired of trolls downvoting or people just being blockheads who refuse to read what you write and just take what you say at face value.

That is until I joined this subreddit. And I give my thanks to everyone here and the subreddit as a whole. Since joining I've had nothing but positive experiences. I never get downvoted even when someone doesn't particularly agree with me. No one blindly hates on anything I say. People here are generally very respectful and just share their love for the franchise.

And I know me saying this is a bit cliche because these types of posts are always made on pretty much any subreddit. But I genuinely mean it hence why I'm making it. Hopefully it doesn't sound too cheesy on my part.

Just thanks to everyone on here for being respectful and not being a troll or an asshole. It's a breath of fresh air for Reddit standards :P

Barok IS racist ,and that's the point...

    Posted: 12 May 2021 04:31 AM PDT

Seriously, why are we still not over this? His racism was never portrayed as a good thing ,and his whole character arc is about him becoming more open to the japanese as he met Naruhodo. No, I'm not saying that his racism is justified (even Barok himself admitted that in the end). If you think that his character is badly written, that's perfectly fine, but stop acting like people liking his character is some sort of taboo, when y'all stan Miles Edgeworth who sent a bunch of innocent people to jail(That's right I said it).

How do Phoenix and Ray make a living?

    Posted: 12 May 2021 12:30 PM PDT

I've heard that Phoenix and Ray both work pro-bono. While this sounds very nice and selfless of them, the reality is that in order to keep their law offices going and to have food, water, electricity, etc, they need that money, they really do. If they do their law work pro bono, then how the heck do they own buildings, nice suits, and put bread on the table in Tokyo or Los Angeles, both very expensive cities to live in?
