    Imagine having 2 (3, maybe 4) dads (Jove, Dhurke, arguably Phoenix, Zak if you really stretched it.), two siblings (one you don't know is your sister), A former magician turned international singer Mom (Lamiroir). Lived in Khura'in for a while, loses best friend, almost killed in an explosion. Has magical powers. Has to convict his mentor in his first case. Gets attacked by snackoos. Gets almost arrested.

    Heck I doubt this list is exhaustive. Dude must wonder how much of his life is a conspiracy.

    so i just got spoiled on something in spirit of justice, and i was wondering how big of a reveal this is

    i got spoiled on the queen being the mastermind or something along those lines, so is that a major plot twist? i've heard some people say that it's not a large reveal or that it's foreshadowed early on, but i know how long the final case is and i'm hoping it won't be less interesting now that i know this. ty :)

    He needs some fixing considering ever since the first game he just got flanderized and flanderized and flanderized until he became pretty much the literal worst.

    Let's work backwards, as 6-DLC is still fresh in my mind and the only one i have a concrete idea for.

    Make him Ellen's cousin, and remove that dumb thing where he wants to marry her.

    We just provided a concrete reason for him to help Ellen evade the cops, shows their parallels in overreaction and get some good material out of Phoenix thinking that Larry was just dropped on his head as a baby or something before the facade shatters and nope that's just how the family is.

    As to why he wasn't allowed in, simple.

    The invite was sent to one "Larry Butz", but his address is under Laurice Deauxnim, and that was the name he gave to the bouncers.

    So that's larry in SoJ.

    Most of his other problems just stem from him being creepy towards minors in Trials and Tribulations.

    a better running gag than him being horrible at literally everything at least imo would be for him to have way too many skills you can't get a job for, like making clocks, crayon drawings, and pounding mochi or something.

    as much as i love nahyuta, i want to SOCK HIM IN THE FACE for even having the slightest suspicion that trucy is capable of murder, let alone capable of doing so during her debut show. that just doesn't add up.

    Investigations 1-1 shouldn't have had an intro.

    I've been doing a thing where at least once a week I get into a discord call with my friend and watch him play through the AA series. He just finished the original trilogy and has now decided to play through Investigations. Which gives me a great chance to rewatch Investigations 1 and work out if it's as bad as I remember. (That being an overall average game with some really bad parts)

    When we booted up the first case it went as I remembered, intro cutscene with Portman killing his buddy, Edgeworth having a gun pointed at him by the mysterious figure, and then investigation. Things go well as you gather evidence, make some logic, then Portman enters crying about his buddies death. But because of the intro cutscene we already know he's a villain so we don't care a bit.

    Which immediately made me realise just how much of a mistake that intro was. How much better would the case be if we actually believed Portman was just an emotional guy that wanted to find his best friends killer? Only getting that suspicion that somethings up when we begin to uncover just whose door was unlocked by Maggy. On revisit, I actually thought I1-1 was better than I remembered and I was disappointed that it took away the mystery, a key part of the entire series.
