    Dai Gyakuten Saiban DLC Beta/Unused Tracks

    So the DLC for The Great Ace Attorney actually had a fair amount of beta versions of tracks from the OST of the game that never made the cut. Alternate character, courtroom, and cutscene themes that either sound similar or completely different. Some of them are pretty good, in all honesty, and it gives a decent bit of insight as to the design process of the OST itself (notice that the beginning of the second beta version of Ryuunosuke's Objection theme sounds eerily similar to the finished version of the credits music, for example).

    Anyway, here they are, as I don't believe anyone's uploaded and compiled the entire set of songs from the DLC. Enjoy, for all those interested! I won't force you to go through the playlist I made on Soundcloud if you only care about a certain few, so here's the whole set.     The Identity of the Phantom is Unknown - Or is it really? (My thinking)

    Who remembers the finally Villain of the last Case in Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Dual Destinies? The Phantom - A Killer as a Master in Disguise. We found out that he is the Killer but we never found out his Idendity.

    During his Breakdown he switched into different masks to find his own true face. He kept switching and switching till he ended up wearing the mask of Fullbright again and getting shot. Due to the shot, he is falling on the ground and the mask fell off his face. His true face is revealed but is still hidden in the shadow, which means for the viewer is the identity still a mystery.

    Or is it a mystery?

    Here is my thinking:

    During the Breakdown of the Phantom, I have the thinking, that they made another Model for the Phantoms Breakdown and that in the End of the Breakdown this duplicate Model of Fullbright has an own face. Which could mean, that this very duplicate Model can be found in the data base of the Game.

    I hope that my thinking makes sense, if not, please correct me.

    Am I supposed to be able to save after completing case 5 in the first AA?

    I'm playing the DS version of Ace Attorney, and after the credits rolled I was expecting it to save so I could see the case artwork and have the option to replay the other cases, since that's what happened after completing the previous cases. However, it took me back to the "play from last save/play from beginning of chapter" screen, so I'm stuck at the end of case 5 now. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how the game is?

    Phoenix got the information about Thalassa being Magnifi's only daughter from Brushel when he was talking to Shadi Smith (aka Zak Gramarye) in the future, then he proceeds to go talk to Valant Gramarye and one of the locks are broken by saying that she was Magnifi's only daughter. This is also backed up by the fact that you can't present the item that breaks that lock before talking to Shadi. Am I not getting sometjing here?

    Announcing the Sixth r/AceAttorney Community Case Maker Contest

    It's been two-plus years since the last one of these. We're cooped up inside due to a pandemic. The holidays are approaching.

    What better way to pass the time than crafting cases?

    This edition of the case maker contest will follow the same rules as set by game master emeritus u/FNAFPCreator. Your task is to write up an Ace Attorney case where a noun I supply below is an important part of the case. After the deadline passes (see below), submissions will no longer be taken and the community will vote for submissions in a Google Form. The top three submissions will move to the second round and community members will vote on which will win first, second, and third place. The prizes for those respective places are:

    1st Place: 3 months of Reddit Gold

    2nd Place: 1 month of Reddit Gold

    3rd Place: 5 credits of Reddit Gold

    In the comments, I will make a post that will give a template of what your submission should look like. If possible, please fill in all the sections in the template, including N/A if needed.

    Regarding the description area, feel free to be descriptive as possible! If you fear the post is too long, you may post the description over several comments or through another source such as Pastebin or Google Docs. There is no word limit, so please do not worry about such.

    The comment I'll supply below, feel free to reply to it in regards to questions or general discussion. The rest of the thread is for submissions only.

    And remember, don't hold back your creativity! Your case can be a standard AA case, it can be a reminiscence case, or an Investigations-styled case! However, there are some limitations.

    Firstly, your case shouldn't involve any topics of sexual abuse of any kind. If your case does involve so, you're disqualified. **Overly gory cases are allowed, but make sure there's a reason for that, and not have it be gory just for the sake of being so.* You won't be disqualified, but you may lose some credibility points. Also, joke posts are allowed, but only ones that are well-thought out, clever, and/or high-quality. Anything like "ThE PHoEnIX wiRIGHT TUnraBOOT: sOMEONE DIED aND phEENIX HAd TO dFEENdED THem!!!1!" is not allowed.

    Other than those limitations; don't hold your creativity back!

    The deadline for this contest is: Monday, December 21, 11:59 PM EST. This gives entrants three weeks plus an extra weekend to plan and write their cases.
