    Turnabout Academy Fun-Fact

    Posted: 02 Sep 2020 03:48 PM PDT

I just finished a replay of Turnabout Academy, and by my count, the phrase "the end justifies the means" is used no fewer than twenty-seven times in the case's script. Course, I didn't examine every possible piece of optional text, so there might well be more. Athena at one point says:

I'm so sick of hearing that phrase!

... Yeah, me too, Athena. Me too.

Various instances of "by all means", or "by any means necessary" were noted as well, but not included in this count. Additionally, I counted thirteen instances of the phrase "dark age of the law".

Dual Destinies never was on speaking terms with the concept of subtlety, was it?

Phoenix Wright made me win an argument against my brother.

    Posted: 02 Sep 2020 02:56 PM PDT

Here's the story: I'm currently sick (not from coronavirus) and the new heater makes feel bad when it's turned on for a while but I wasn't able to turn it off because my brother won't let me turn it off and if I pushed this a little far, we would enter in a discussion as always. My brother is very manipulative during arguments, he would invent accusations from nowhere and insult me from preventing me think about an argument. So I tried to open the windows a little to make me feel less dizzy, but my brother wouldn't let me, so we entered in an argument and he won, this time I felt really frustrated and with the heater making me dizzy, I thought about proof that would make win the argument, because he wouldn't believe me If I said I am sick or the heater makes me dizzy and then I remembered tolding my mom about the heater making me feel dizzy, it could be a decisive proof or witness depending how I would used it. My brother leaved the room, he took a while so I just turned off the heater, my brother came and the discussion started, he started with the typical opening line accusing me and using things from the past as proof then I hitted him with the I'm sick and the heater makes feel dizzy, he tried to refute this saying that before the heater didn't maked me feel this way and objected saying that's was the old heater and the new one makes me feel bad, at this point he was lacking of arguments and he tried to accuse me about lying about this and joked about me, I hitted him with the testimony from my mother and he didn't have any arguments then I win! It was something from Phoenix Wright the whole time, thanks Phoenix.

Sooo... AA6 was announced in Weekly Famitsu, right?

    Posted: 02 Sep 2020 11:47 AM PDT

I'm just saying, AA6 was announced in a Famitsu magazine a couple of weeks before Capcom's TGS show. Do you think it's possible a new AA game could be announced in the coming weeks before the TGS stream?

I'm just hanging on to hope, man...

    Apollo's trilogy

    Posted: 02 Sep 2020 10:12 AM PDT

Finally got around to playing Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice! Given how SoJ ends, AA: AJ, AA:DD, and AA:SoJ together really feel like Apollo's trilogy. Wish they'd bundle them and re-release for Switch/PC as they've done for Phoenix' trilogy. Apollo deserves some love and attention too, he's great!

My thoughts about Cross-examination theme from Justice For All

    Posted: 02 Sep 2020 09:37 AM PDT

Like,my main complaint,is that it sounds out of place. I still like it, but it could easily apply to,I dunno,Spirit of Justice. Same can be said about TaT's Cross-examination theme, but it KINDA fits the theme of Turnabout Memories and Turnabout Beginnings, because these are reminiscence cases, and you get the point.
