Wow guys, I've played the first half of Episode Two and it's been an incredible ride thus far. Can't wait to see where the Episode leads.

Two of my best friends have angered me enough to buy the Trilogy.

    Posted: 03 Jun 2020 09:51 AM PDT

I got it for sale for the Switch.

They say all I play are shooters for other consoles; this is true.

They also said I'm not a critical thinker, thus getting the Trilogy for $15 would be a waste of time for me; this is not true.

As they snickered and made jokes when I bought the game, I frowned and concentrated on the first case, and that was a tutorial and easy enough. I'm on the 2nd case now, and I aim to prove my friends wrong; that I can think critically, that I beat these games, but they don't think I will, at least not with the help of YouTube or Wiki, which angered me further.

I've set on a mission to beat each case without outside help, and I don't care if they believe me at this point.

I'm setting on a personal quest to show myself that I can play and best games like these, that I am good beyond games like COD and BF.

    Should I get DGS2?

    Posted: 03 Jun 2020 11:43 PM PDT

I am American and I only speak English. That being said, I'm about to finish DGS with the patch on my phone. Would it be worth it to get the second game and only play the first two cases even though the rest of them are not finished yet?

TL;DR I wanna know if only the first two cases of DGS2 are worth it to buy the full game at this point.

Who’s the Best Assistant/Partner in Ace Attorney?

    Posted: 03 Jun 2020 01:14 PM PDT

We always put the attention to the best prosecutors and attorney, but how about the little side kicks who do some things during trials and investigations . This is also through the view only of them as an assistant in the cases of those who have more than one occupation. The list also doesn't involve any attorneys nor prosecutors (with an exception of maybe Athena because she acts more as a lawyer in training and a partner to Apollo and Phoenix than defending herself). Here's my list to choose from:

Maya Fey Pearl Fey Ema Skye Trucy Wright Kay Faraday Dick Gumshoe Athena Cykes* Rayfa Padma Khura'in* Susato Miktoba Iris Watson

Your view on the prosecution-investigation games.

    Posted: 03 Jun 2020 08:50 AM PDT

I personally like the prosecution-investigation games as much as the defense-trial games.

I'm just kinda disappointed Capcom isn't having any plans to expand the series, and the characters, who have so much more potential than just in 2 games (1 which hasn't even been officially translated!)

What do you guys think about it?

Trilogy PC/Switch/PS4/xboxone sales and what this might mean for the future.

    Posted: 03 Jun 2020 11:59 AM PDT

So after some number crunching, the latest Trilogy ports have only sold a combined total of 400,000-500,000 so far. While this is far from good numbers for any other franchise, the sales have matched Capcom's expectations. Also don't forget how the tons of let's plays brought attention to the franchise.

So I think AA dose have a future, and so dose Capcom. But I don't think ports will be the future. Because the switch port only sold 20% of its stock on day one. Capcom said this was expected but they blame the sales on the saturation of Trilogy ports, but not AA as a hole.

Now with 2021 only half a year away we might get news for the 20th anniversary soon, but ya I personally think AA isn't considered dead yet to capcom and they will do something soon.

Are there any spoilers for Sherlock Holmes novels in DGS?

    Posted: 03 Jun 2020 12:30 PM PDT

Hello, everyone. Can someone who's familiar with the Holmes stories tell me if The Great Ace Attorney (Dai Gyakuten Saiban) contains spoilers for the classic books?

I'm pretty lucky to read such influential series blind so I'm wondering if I should hold off DGS until I get to a certain novel first?
