Not a genius at this, but I made some Smash Bros. alts for Phoenix! And Apollo, why not. They're all based on Ace Attorney characters, I'll let you guess who.

Uh, yeah. (Yes it is my art, if you want me to show more proof I'll do it)

    I just noticed.

In Rise from the Ashes (1-5), if you examine the Attorney's badge, Phoenix mentions how "you can't lend an attorney's badge to anyone, or you'd be found out right away."

Now, fast forward to Bridge to the Turnabout (3-5), Phoenix lends Edgeworth his attorney's badge to defend Iris for him. How did Phoenix not get called out on it?

(I get that Edgeworth is able to submit an attorney substitution for Phoenix, just thought I'd point this little contradiction out.)

The Ace Attorney series is quite dark if you think about it

    Posted: 04 Apr 2020 05:11 PM PDT

Before i start i will say i might be looking too deep into this from a writers point of view but i LOVE the Ace Attorney series and it's characters. And i hope i tagged the post correctly

If you stop and think about it Ace Attorney is quite dark honestly if you strip it's Japanese goofiness and think of everything from the original Ace Attorney all the way to Spirit of Justice the story, actions, even What Phoenix goes through in the original three games is dark Phoenix gets ridiculed for YEARS every case he does but also he has been blackmailed multiple times and framed for crimes and put into scenarios that would make us break down and just stop with that career and find something else to do i feel like Apollo Justice and Dual Destinies are the darkest out of all the main games Apollo Justice shows Phoenix after he was framed and lost his badge he lost everything that day and it changed him as we saw in AJ and then Kristoph's Black Psyche Lock which i heard we might've broken forcefully unlike with Athena and Dual Destinies we've had Athena's past and The Phantom which both were quite dark with Athena "fixing" her mother and The Phantom killing Apollo's friend and Detective Fullbright.

That's all i'm gonna mention since i don't wanna spoil ALL the games but i honestly wanna read what you all think about this and thank you for reading have a wonderful day!

Edit: My point was that it's darker then i've seen some fans admit

Who do you think the best post AJ case 3 villain is?

Is there any news about a potential AA7?

I played Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice recently (I judt found out they had mobile ports and had to play them lol), and I was wondering if we'd get a seventh installment anytime soon? Is it already in the works or something?

From what point in the story Apollo has stopped being a rookie?

    Posted: 04 Apr 2020 03:55 PM PDT

In the first trilogy it was quite clearly stated that Phoenix has stopped being a rookie after the last case of the third game. However, I am not sure if Apollo could also be labeled as the experienced one in the same way or in the slightest. If you think he is no longer a rookie then please explain when that happened and why that moment is decisive enough.
