This is a popular case for us, but which characters did you dislike/not like that much first but suddenly find yourself liking them? How did it happen?

For myself, I used to not appreciate Apollo Justice and Klavier Gavin before, it ends why I played the rest of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney later than usual. I have a few friends in school that have also played Ace Attorney and I sort of made jokes about the two of them all the time. There's also the time where I set Klavier's air guitar as my ringtone to annoy the hell out of them since my phone gets a lot of notifications. I also doodled a lot of Klavier poking fun at Apollo just to get some laughs.

Fast forward, it all ends with me just realising that I like the two of them. Ergo, I played Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney in a flash.

Honestly? One of the most lovable characters in the game. It'd be cool to see him talked about more. Serious, caring and a little goofy. Nuanced and even his flaws were charming to me. An all around great dad. Let's talk about him

Appreciation for Godot's Theme Song: "The Fragrance of Dark Coffee"

    Posted: 18 Jan 2020 08:22 AM PST

The first time I met Godot, I had to laugh at him a bit. This is the guy that everyone loved so much? This Godot, the man with spiky white hair and the goofy space mask? And his gimmick is that...he's addicted to coffee?

But there was one thing I liked about him from the start- his theme song. All the characters in T&T, and probably other games as well, have exaggerated theme songs that are supposed to evoke an obvious emotion. They include the jumpy, the bizarre, and the mysterious. Godot's theme manages to be all of them- and is, without a doubt in my mind, the best in the whole trilogy.

When we first see Godot, he's a unique person in more ways than just his appearance. He's cool, collected, and even graceful in the courtroom. He absolutely hates you, but it's not like him to whip you, or try to frame you for a crime, or any of that nonsense. No. He's much happier crushing you in court, flashing you that smug look on his face, sipping away at his coffee- black and bitter, of course. His behavior, especially in his position as prosecutor, is unlike any other character in the trilogy, and his calming theme song is a perfect example of that. He seems like a man who has it all figured out.

But eventually, we come to see Godot in a different light. As self-assured and collected as Godot might seem, on the inside, he's a broken man. A man who's lost everything: his lover, his job, hell, even the woman responsible for it all. And after we expose his crimes, and get his teary eyed confession, that theme song plays again. It's the same carefree, relaxed song it always was, but we don't feel that way listening to it this time. This time, it's just heartbreaking. I can't describe what about this song makes me feel so crushed for poor Godot- I'm not a music expert or anything. But, when you hear this song after learning of the truth- there's a sense of finality to it. All the secrets are on the table, all the sins of the past have been brought to light. Diego Armando has absolutely nothing to hide from you anymore- and, secretly, he's forever grateful to you. This song is more than just an emotion. It tells the story of Godot better than any dialogue ever could.

    This song is beautiful.

What two characters that have never met would you like to see meet?

    Posted: 18 Jan 2020 11:45 PM PST

The pure unadulterated collective bitchiness that could manifest between Franziska and Rayfa meeting would be spectacular.

Kay meeting literally any of the other female assistants would just melt me.

Gumshoe interacting with Fulbright could've been very interesting.

I'd love to see what kind of savage shit Mia would tear into Kristoph with.
