What's the easiest way to get Spirit of Justice on Switch if your Nintendo E-Store doesn't have it?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 09:55 PM PST

Been looking to pick this one up, but I can't figure out how to get it. I was going to get a physical release but then realised Capcom doesn't like those. Was going to try to buy it on an account with a US region, but I cant figure out if that version would work on my main, non-US switch account.

Is it still "grape juice" in Japanese?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 11:17 AM PST

One of my favorite jokes in the series is from AA4-1, where Phoenix was drinking something out of a whine bottle with a picture of grapes on it, referred to exclusively as "grape juice".

Now I wonder if that was a joke by the English localization team, or original writer Shu Takumi, about how we can aknowledge that it was used to bludgeon someone to death but can't aknowledge that it's an alcoholic beverage.

Any hopes for more Switch Remakes?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 01:07 PM PST

I've been thinking about it a while, but, do you think Capcom might give us the other games remade? I know Edgeworth Investigations is slim to none chance of getting such a thing (due to selling and localization issues) but as somebody who's 3DS kicked the dust before I got my Switch, I'd love to have Apollo Justice on my switch to play it, I've watched some play thrus and all but I really would love to have the game myself. Anybody else agree?

[spoilers] didn’t feel like keeping my karma today, so I made a tier list (ordered)

Let’s play a game: fill in the blank, and come up with an Ace Attorney case revolving around it. Turnabout ___

    Posted: 21 Dec 2019 12:05 AM PST

    Turnabout Pigskin:

Case briefing: a university's star QB is murdered one day after practice. He was found in the showers having been beaten to death with his own helmet.

Victim: Matthew Victor Peterson, age 20, star QB, killed with his own helmet in the showers

Defendant: Ian Terception, age 20, backup QB, charged with murder; motive? To become the starting QB for his team; athletic, but a bit clumsy

Witnesses: - Paul Laybook, age 55, head coach for the team, states that Terception was the last person with Peterson before he died

    • Gail Dodger, age 19, Peterson's girlfriend, not super distraught over her boyfriend's death, as she seems to find a new man pretty quickly

    • Han Duff, age 21, soon to be pro RB who's playing his last season for the school; very humble and hurt by his teammate's death

    • Tommy Quipt, age 20, equipment manager for the football team, in charge of the helmets and states that one was stolen from him (the murder weapon)

Crime scene: showers in the locker room

Murder weapon: spare helmet found in the locker room

Question about the DC Act (Spoilers to anyone who hasn't played AA: SoJ)

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 04:18 PM PST

So, as everyone who has played the sixth game, "Spirit of Justice," knows, the Defense Culpability Act states, "...those who would support criminals would be deemed just as guilty." At first, I thought that this would not stand in any fair court system. But then I thought, "Would this truly be unconstitutional?"

That's where I need some clarification. To all you American fans: would the Defense Culpability Act be unconstitutional in the United States? And to everyone else, would this law stand in your court system (English Law, Japanese Law, whichever law system works in your country), or would it be erased from the law book there too?

Can I buy AA:Dual destinies, not be 18+ and still be able to play the game?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 05:20 PM PST

I've played the original trilogy, Apollo Justice, and the AI: spin-offs. I'm ready to move on to the next game but I have a slight problem, I'm 15 and currently can't buy the game from the e-shop. I can't change my age and there's no hardcopies that I can get. My only conclusion is to get a download code of the game and redeem it from the e-shop. My only concern is if the e-shop will deny my download and won't let me play the game since I'm underage. I don't have parental controls on since I bought my 3ds with my own money. My parents are good with me getting the game and know where to buy the code. I just want to know if I'll be able to play the game without the e-shop telling me I can't since I'm 15.
