Maya's Drawing at the end of Justice for All Posted: 24 Oct 2020 05:51 PM PDT I recently finished Justice for All and am confused about the ending. For some reason, Franziska kept Maya's drawing of Nick. What was her reasoning? [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Oct 2020 11:10 PM PDT Was it ever explained why he wears them? Like, he says that he uses them not for fashion but to keep him alive and all but like, he was poisoned, how does that relate to vision at all? And why can't he use uncolored lens? Is this just some dumb excuse to make a cool looking character? [link] [comments]
What is your one single favorite track from the entire series and why? Posted: 24 Oct 2020 05:44 PM PDT This is one of the most difficult questions in this fandom that can be posed, in my opinion. Each game has a spectacular soundtrack and it would be incredibly difficult to select "the best" track from each individual game, let alone the entire series. If you wrack your brain hard enough, I'm sure that you can decide on one even disregarding the seemingly impossible nature of the task. Note: no honorable mentions or statements of second place. This is intended to be challenging, and offering a list of tracks rather than a single, absolute answer is much easier than the latter since you can feel like you're not leaving anything out. Also, if you're at your computer, please link the track as well so others can listen to it if they haven't heard it before! Obviously the comments of the videos may have spoilers, so for those of you who decide to listen to a track from a game you haven't played, please avoid the comment section of the video. My selection is the Turnabout Sisters Music Box Melody from the Crossover. The context at which this plays in the game, after Maya's death and Phoenix's absolute inability to cope with it, makes this heartbreaking. (VS-3) I have shed some tears to this song more than once. It's beautiful, chilling, loving, and haunting all at the same time, and consequently, it takes my #1 spot. Now it's your turn. What is your #1 theme from the entire series? [link] [comments]

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (Character Headshots) Posted: 24 Oct 2020 10:37 AM PDT
Posted: 24 Oct 2020 06:49 PM PDT Verily, I say, this be the XVIIth Centurie of our Lorde & Savior! Modern English butchering of Early Modern English aside, this is also a time when LOTS of wars happened. We got a War of Religion, the Thirty Years War, with casualties and atrocities comparable to World War I. We got the English Civil War, where Oliver Cromwell came from. There are a lot more to unpack. But in the unpleasantness of war, innovation is booming. First instances of industrial machines are found in the posterior half of the 17th century. Then, a proto-Enlightenment is also showing. Athena Cykes may very well be fitting in this time, though the wars can give her a bad time. Might get burned as a witch for being in this time period as a smart girl, sadly. Oh, and before I forget: William Shakespeare. What, you egg? Anyway, who can thrive most in this time? Posted: 24 Oct 2020 07:54 AM PDT Ace Attorney has a long track record of imaginative pun names, but I'm sure that most will agree that the inhabitants of Khura'in really take the cake with their absurdly unsubtle, on the nose name puns. That's not a complaint by the way; names like Ahlbi Ur'gaid (I'll be your guide) and Tahrust/Beh'leeb Inmee (trust/believe in me) are terrific. In my current replay of SoJ, however, I've noticed a couple of lines I find interesting: For starters, case 1's very own Pees'lubn Andistan'dhin (peace, love and understanding), says that he first moved to Khura'in within the past 6 months, meaning he's not a native. Furthermore, the wanted poster for Datz Are'bal (that's a rebel) states that he's a "...former paratrooper from a foreign land". Just one anomaly I can chalk up as a coincidence, but the explicit reference of two characters - both with very Khura'inese names - not actually being from Khura'in makes me wonder. Is there another country in the Ace Attorney universe which we haven't seen yet that also has a tradition of gloriously blunt pun names? And if so, I swear on the Holy Mother, please don't make that the plot of AA7. [link] [comments] |
