Khura'in worldbuilding - (general spoilers for SOJ)

    Posted: 23 May 2020 10:16 PM PDT

So, do crimes other than murder happen in Khura'in? What about civil matters? Is there so much murder because there's no legal way to solve disputes?

what are their imports and exports and what's their gdp lmao

In my opinion, the Divination Seance gimmick are badly implemented

    Posted: 23 May 2020 10:59 PM PDT

Going through SoJ, currently at 3rd case and I'm already annoyed with it. Its a cool concept but very poorly implemented, I'm not sure if it originally like this or the translation are bad.

I'm not sure the right word, it doesn't feel kinda 'conclusive'? The insight doesn't really correlate with the statement. Most of the time I already know whats wrong with the insight but had trouble presenting it.

Its less about finding inconsistencies but more of finding something that wasn't supposed to be there and try your best to find the right statement which most of the time either quite a strech or not related at all.

    For example [minor SoJ spoiler]:

in Day 2 trial, it pretty obvious that I had to point out the ginghil but all the statement doesnt seem to fit it. And lets not talk about the whole lantern affair in Day 1. I had to check walkthrough after trying so many times, when i actually got it correct, i feel like its the same thing I've been doing before.

If Capcom were to make another "Phoenix Wright vs. ______" title, which Capcom franchise would you want for the crossover?

    Posted: 23 May 2020 03:27 PM PDT

If your answer isn't listed among the options, feel free to put your answer in the comments.

(personally, I would like a "Marvel vs. Capcom: Ace Attorney Edition" game. Maybe have Daredevil or She-Hulk as either the defense or prosecutors)

Taking a Look at Third Case Syndrome in the Ace Attorney Trilogy

Is Little Thief too unrealistic for anyone else? (Edgeworth duology minor spoilers)

    Posted: 23 May 2020 11:52 PM PDT

While it is a cool mechanic from an in-universe standpoint, the lack of realism with Little Thief is just absurd. A small device of comparable height to a cell phone that is portable can coat everything nearby in green and dynamically handle ANY case-specific data to generate a mock crime scene in minutes.

I would have liked it if at least Edgeworth and Kay had to wear glasses to see the overlay. Then it'd be a lot more believable.

Now I know this is at the end of the day a series that features channeling, the most asinine legal system in the world and everything else, but for a pair of games that are normally more grounded in reality than the rest of the series, Little Thief just feels out of place. It's outright magic and hardly advanced technology.

    What do you all think?

What happens to those who are found guilty?

    Posted: 23 May 2020 11:31 PM PDT

I'm pretty sure murder cases receive the capital punishment in these games (death penalty I'm assuming), but it's been itching me ever since I started playing AA and I just wanted to make sure if that's the case!
