    Why do people hate Athena

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 07:27 PM PST

I understand that she makes the plot a little bit more congested but I don't understand how people hate her so much.

Question about the physical copy of the trilogy on Switch

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 04:09 PM PST

I would like to buy a physical copy of the original trilogy for my Switch, but as far as I know you can only get a Japanese copy.

I saw that it does have the English version of the game on it, but does anyone know if it's only the text that's in English, or if the audio is in English as well?

Does the latest version of the Trilogy(PS4,Xbox,Switch,PC) have any differences from the 3DS version?

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 05:13 PM PST

iirc the 3DS version while much better than the iOS version still lacked some frames for animation. Wondering if the latest version has more or maybe even all the frames now? Any other differences?

    Questions for AAI2

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 01:03 PM PST

    1. Where do the names and titles come from? The game was never localized in English but they were already official names/titles? Were they also fanmade?
    2. So The fake body double of President Huang shot at the small cramped balloon Simon and kay was in but missed both of them? Mere Plot convenience maybe?
    3. If President Huang died on the rooftop, what was he doing in the film lot in the video of john was rehearsing? He looked well and alive when he was supposed to be dead?
    4. Is there any explanation as to why Patricia, Blaise, the Body Double got the original president killed?
    5. Why were the documents of Jeffrey's verdict changed/forged? Doesn't really get elaborated upon from what I remember?
    6. Why was Raymond shields defending Patricia Roland? Patricia Roland probably wouldn't want him defending her as his "assistant" is what put her in this position in the first place.
    7. Were Simon and Patricia working together during the imprisoned turnabout?

Chronological order of cases across all the games

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 05:53 AM PST

    Hi all,

I'm aware of the sidebar that mentions the chronological order of all the games, but given that the games have so many flashback cases (e.g. Edgeworth, Phoenix, and Mia's first cases mid game) I was wondering if there's a list of all the cases in chronological order, regardless of game.

I've seen the Timeline on the Ace Attorney wiki, though I haven't done a deep dive as I'm just at the start of AAI2 and while I'm already a little spoiled I don't want to spoil myself further! I might look at it again once I'm done.

    Thanks!

Is Ace Attorney trilogy worth the $30 price tag?.

I've been debating on getting the game for a couple of days but wasn't sure if I should spend the full amount or should I wait for sale?

Rise From The Ashes isn't that long?

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 05:41 AM PST

Whenever I play Rise From The Ashes, it doesn't feel as long and dragged out as everybody says. I feel like it's constantly entertaining and keeps me engaged so it doesn't feel as long as everyone complains about.

I mean, sure, when you look at how long it takes to complete, yeah, it is a long case but everybody uses that as a negative but I just don't see it that way. It's a great case from start to finish with an excellent story, brilliant villain and lovable characters all around, really. It doesn't feel like I'm going through a boring, dragged out case at all.

Asking for a public opinion bc I can’t make my own decision

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 10:34 AM PST

I bought DD around 6 years ago and played it twice, that was my first AA game. Over the past year and a bit, I've been playing the series in chronological order. I finally made it back to DD and I've already purchased and downloaded SOJ, and I'm just itching to start it already since I know how DD ends. I'm on the day 1 investigation of 5-4, but should I just drop the game and start SOJ?
