What would it be like if Ace Attorney had realistic trial mechanics?

A couple of fellow college students and I were curious, so we decided to re-create The First Turnabout with real court procedures such as opening statements, direct examination and impeachment using Pywright.

Like seriously what? Could Magnifi not find one single person that he wasn't related to that wasn't a thorough douchebag? Also he was a complete dick himself too.

Let's see

1.) Zak/Valant fucking shoot Thalassa in head (oops) and then Magnifi, instead of caring for his ALIVE daughter, ships her off to some random repressive eastern European country where you get the death penalty for smuggling a fucking cocoon so he can blackmail them when he feels like killing himself

2.) Magnifi then literally blackmails Zak and Valant to commit MURDER just for funsies

3.) He already planned to give the rights to Zak so he was just stringing Valant along

4.) Magnifi then kills himself in a way that would likely make it seem like Valant did it, then Valant decides to pretend it was a murder and frame Zak???? Because Zak got the rights???? Why couldn't they still perform as a duo like they were ALREADY doing????

5.) Zak decides to abandon his EIGHT-YEAR OLD DAUGHTER and leave her with no living kin and literally no one to go to, he just abandons her in a fucking courthouse

6.) Zak then comes out of hiding seven years later to ruin Phoenix's career again

7.) He hits Olga with a bottle hard enough to knock her out simply because her trap didn't work

8.) Not to mention Thalassa being all like "oh I won't tell my kids are their mother I feel like disappearing for two years"

Seriously the only shred of humanity any of them ever showed was when Zak admitted to killing Magnifi to save Valant from the negative press

Also Kristoph is a bitch
