The brilliance of making a villain (+final case tier list)

    Posted: 08 Dec 2019 11:08 PM PST

Just started going through the DLC of Dual Destinies (I haven't played Spirit of Justice yet, so careful on the spoilers) and I must say, I LOVE how the creators make final-trial villains.

Like, each final villain just flips the whole game around. Starting simply with the murderer being a prosecutor, then being the client, and then being the same murder for most of the game! It's fuckin crazy!

Admittedly, I have only seen a play through of Apollo Justice, so I'm not that well known on Kristoph's story. The time travel thing was pretty cool, I guess.

And then, of course, using the mood matrix against a man clinically diagnosed to have no emotions is an obvious, but brilliant set-up. So here's a quick list ranking the first five final villains:

    1. Dahlia Hawthorne: Cause you learn so much about her and her final case with Iris is amazingly mind-blowing.

    2. The Phantom: Bobby Fulbright, Aristotle Means, Phoenix Wright, whoever he was, his only fear was getting caught. He forgot what his real face looked like and completely threw off the Mood Matrix.

    3. Matt Engarde: Loved his look, his method, and the whole kidnapping Maya thing. Shelly De Killer is a great addition and I hope he returns as well. (And Franziska is amazing).

    4. Manfred Von Karma: Low cause it's kinda just the simplest, though it was the first game, so credit to that. The case was just as mind blowing, talking to a parrot and solving a completely different case (and Franziska is amazing).

    5. Kristoph Gavin: No real love or hate since I didn't play that one. He doesn't stick out in my mind that much. Maybe if I spent the time to get attached to the case, he'd be higher. The whole connection to the first case was nice, I'm a fan of gambling, but just not attached.

    Posted: 08 Dec 2019 12:50 PM PST

So one of my friends bought the phoenix wright ace attorney trilogy thats on steam but his os is linux and the game wont download because the game isnt supported on that os. I was wondering if there was a way to get it to work or a rom that would work on gnu linux. preferably one of the games in the trilogy or the trilogy itself, but any others would be fine too

    Is there a prosecutor game?

Something akin to the main series but instead of presenting evidence to defend you present evidence to prosecute in court?

Hello, can I know the order of playing Ace attorney? There are Dual Destinies, Spirit of Justice, Apollo Justice and Miles Edgeworth on play store in my country and I couldn't find a reliable article of the playing order.
