    TOP 5 Objection theme (desk)bangers!

    Outside of its fantastic storytelling and unique characters, one of the most memorable aspects of Ace Attorney to me has always been its OST. The music fits the moment its used perfectly and one of the most iconic tracks is the Objection theme, so I wanted to share my thoughts on what I think the best Objection themes are.

    1. A New Chapter of Trials! 2016 From the second the track starts with a jolt it carries a constant energy through to the end. You can feel justice oozing from every note that plays and the bridge which utilizes the synths and slowly builds back up to the jolt that started the track - all I can say is WOW. No other objection theme feels quite as empowering as this one.

    2. Courtroom Révolutionnaire 2016 Athena's objection theme was already amazing in 2013 and what did the composers do? They made it even better by taking the beat and melody and adding some absolutely smashing electric guitars on top of it. This theme is just as dynamic as A New Chapter of Trials, and the only reason it doesn't share the #1 spot is because of how underutilized it is in SOJ. I wouldn't even mind if they reused this exact theme for (hopefully) AA7 in the future.

    3. Objection! 2001 This is it - the track that started it all. Honestly if it were any other theme that played when I found my first contradiction in Sahwit's testimony I don't know if I'd have the same love for the series I have today. No fancy instruments to work with here, yet this Objection theme makes just as powerful a statement as any other. The constant driving melody that plays in the foreground that encourage you to keep pushing forward along with the soft chimes in the counter melody which almost seem to be cheering you are the reasons why this theme will never get old.

    4. Objection! 2009 I might be in the minority here but I think Objection! 2009 is better than 2011. It starts off slow, but boy does it pick up in the second half. I love how it takes The Great Revival and builds a driving melody while maintaining the regal sound befitting Edgeworth's character.

    5. Objection! 2004 I won't lie - when I first heard this one I thought it was lame. It didn't carry the same energy as Objection 2001 or even Objection 2002, but as I kept listening to it while playing through T&T I grew to appreciate it more. This theme suits Mia perfectly as it stays calm and collected throughout but you can feel the undertones of the truth slowly rising from it.

    Title.

    Here's some of mine:

    -AAI2 has an amazing story but is significantly let down by very poor integration of gameplay.

    -SoJ is a top tier game, and is held back only by excessive fanservice and a slightly random Apollo backstory.

    -Dahlia Hawthorne was the best villain the series ever had.

    -AA4 is still only okay, but should definitely not have had Phoenix Wright in it.

    -The main prosecutors for AA4, AA5 and AA6 are all pretty bad characters.

    Thoughts on The Grand Turnabout (breifly)

    Oops I completely forgot this series. I've already finished this case a month ago and here are my thoughts

    What I like: The Mystery that has a mostly satisfying end

    Sebastián Development

    The Twist Villain. I didn't see that one coming even though I feel like I should have.

    Von Karma and Ray shields trial. It was just brilliant. I kind of want to see the full trial.

    Dogen. He's a lot more interesting now.

    The feels

    What I don't like:

    Way too all over the places

    Some mysteries have their conclusions rushed and aren't elaborated upon and it confuses me.

    Way too many characters and some just fade into the background or are forgotten about for half of the case.

    The Double Président twist. I felt lazy and shoe horned in.

    Not sure if I like Sebastián long logic chess.

    Overall: Great Case. Grest Game. I'm really glad I finally played it. Sooo much better than AAI. Forget AA7, I want an AAI3.

    just for getting the 2nd case of the game on android. ive been playing on citra. it runs fine on native but looks terrblie so i tried 2X and it all ready has big slow downs and i cant take it anymore. is this possible for android ports ?

    Does Spirit of justice work on IOS 12.4.1?

    I saw that SoJ only supports up to IOS 11.3 but DD said the same thing and worked anyways. Does anyone know if SoJ still works?
